La Liga Title Race
I am like a few other posters on this thread -- before this season, I could have cared less about Real Madrid, but for some reason I was really rooting for them to win the title this season. I don't think it was just to keep Barca from winning it again, but that did have a good bit to do about it. I even got to like Cappello, who I detested at Juve and did not especially like early on this season. Great game, and I really do think the Spanish league plays a much more entertaining style of football than any other league.

Muse @ Wembley Stadium, 16 June 2007. I was there!
Muse? Don't think that they have made it over here in the States as yet.

it's official...Thierry Henry in a new uniform
Oh, that was a good one.

'Die Hard' tops list of best action films
Jeb Stuart is a screenwriter? Damn, and a mightly fine cavalry leader as well! I think this poll is defective, and all due to hype for Die Hard 4. Come on, does anyone believe that this is just a coincidence that this poll was made right before the movie goes to the screen? It was like People magazine that I got a few months ago, showing Drew Barrymore as the Most Beautiful Person -- I had to take a few deep breaths, and think, WHAT? Then I read the magazine, and realized that she had a movie that was just coming out, and then it all made sense to me (to be honest, she is not ugly, but she certainly is not pretty).

Cech will lose his place to this new Chelsea keeper
I don't know Gem, this guy will be 7 feet tall (literally) by the time he's finished growing! That's gotta be a big (pardon the pun) plus in a keeper. And with Cech and Carlo around, he's learning his trade from the very best. We may indeed have someone good enough to challenge for the #1 shirt within a very few years indeed! And failing that...turn Andre the Giant into a striker!!! :praaay: I loved Andre the Giant, but he would have been a bit too slow to play a keeper. Now, George the Animal Steele would have been a great keeper (he died, didn't he?).

World's greatest fans grace Athens with their presence
Hopefully, something will be done about it now. Maybe the next three Champion's League home matches to be played in an empty stadium?

Chelsea sign pizarro
I like Pizarro. He does not have the best skills in the World, but he is a good finisher and a good poacher.

Has the Special One created another trend?
Erm. let's move on to a new salute. That one looks way too silly, and it's run its course.

Manchester United vs. Chelsea - FA Cup Final
I played golf today, and thought that I might have a news blackout until Tuesday at 8:00 p.m., when the game was to be shown on Fox Soccer Channel. In the States, that is not hard to do, since no one cares about the FA Cup over here (except a few crazies like me). However, I could not help myself, and now I am happy.

If you could buy 1 'World Class Player' for Chelsea

Scarf wavers
I kind of like the Italians style with one fan belting out something with a bullhorn, and with everyone else following suit. Pauly???

Predictable.
He does not know what he missed by not watching that 2nd half. It was magnificent, and made me (and everyone else) proud to be a Chelsea fan. I have no regrets about this season now.
-
Predictable.
I'm not too upset. This way, we can focus on just one game, the FA Cup Final, as opposed to a one shot out of 20 if we had happened to defeat Arsenal today. I want to see Sahar and Sinclair and Cuducini in the game in the 2nd half, and I don't care how much we lose by, just that no one gets hurt.

Le Arse vs Chelsea
He used up all of his genie's magic wishes in that one game, and is now back to Earth.

Le Arse vs Chelsea
Prior to giving up the penalty, I was focusing on Boula, and does he play exceptionally poor positionally. It's like he has forgotten where the goal is, and thinks it is on the sidelines!
-
Le Arse vs Chelsea
I am not sure who is worse, Boula or Del No No. I think Boula is worse, since Del No No was capable of a few good crosses from time to time. He has got to go, probably back to a lower league like the Bundesliga.

The Special One. Stay or Go?
My head hurts reading all of this drivel.

I love you Chelsea
Did you just watch the penalties? If not, I cannot believe what you said.

Liverpool vs. Chelsea - UCL 2nd Leg
I know the passion against Liverpool is great, but I cannot see it from this two-game home-and-home semifinal. Both games were played with very little meanness on the part of the teams, and very few nasty fouls (I only remember one, when Lamps went into Alonso fairly hard late in the 2nd half of this game). From that perspective, and given that we did nothing to merit going through to the semis, I have no hard feelings towards Liverpool or their fans. Now, for our supporters who have a long memory, well, I cannot blame them for hating Liverpool for their past transgressions, but I cannot see how these last two games have ratcheted up the hatred any (it should have lowered it, in my opinion).

As a result of last night...
Nice rabbits.

Dare I try player ratings? Yes i dare
Maka deserves a higher score, and didn't JT get skinned alive in the 2nd half, that almost led to Kuyt scoring? I would drop JT down to the Lamps level, a 5, and raise Maka to a 7.

come on AC Milan
Strangely enough, I agree with you, Moos. I don't want ManU to get the treble, under any terms.

Robbens penalty.
Though I must admit Robben took the penalty fairly well, it just took a great save from Reina.

Liverpool vs. Chelsea - UCL 2nd Leg
Having most of our players at the World Cup, and that stupid training trip to the US prior to the start of the season, is really starting to show how bad it was for us. We have a team full of players with dead legs, practically.

Liverpool vs. Chelsea - UCL 2nd Leg
I wonder if having Ballack would have made a difference. In this type of game, I think he was missed very much. Should Bridgey have played as well, and at least given us some attacking option from the back? I think so. Heck, Ferreira was going forward the most, and he did not do so bad.
