  1. Sell next summer not now. Don't think we could upgrade sufficiently enough on him yet. Not the worst option off the bench.
  2. Courtois 89; Willy 79 Rudiger 80; Christensen 82; Azpilicueta 85; Luiz 85; Alonso 81; Moses 79; Cahill 83 Bakayoko 81; Fabregas 86; Kante 86; Hazard 90; Willian 85; Pedro 84; Musonda 76; Boga 74 Morata 84; Michy 82
  3. Real Madrid, PSG, Atleti, Bayern, Barcelona (shambles at the minute though) Juventus and City probably have a better chance than we do. QF would be decent.
  4. Us and City get an awful lot of harsh decisions go against us in comparison to the other top 4 teams. Noticed it last season as well.
  5. Made me laugh, Valerie. Basically, it means our fans were going absolutely mental when we scored. More than the average goal...
  6. Did anyone see the limbs in the away end? Incredible stuff from travelling support.
  7. First half was a bit iffy but second was solid as a rock.
  8. Agree with the point above. Even Real Madrid in the last one or two years have cut back on their spending. Going on spending sprees doesn't guarantee you titles as seen in Manchester. In fact, it's been 4 years since the title was even in Manchester which is pretty poor considering how much both clubs spend. PSG despite their ridiculous millions couldn't win their own league last season and failing once again the CL in the most embarassing fashion. As for Barcelona, take out Messi and we would annihilate them in a game. Their team truly is awful.
  9. My friend said this. When there tends to be a bit of a scrap, Azpi is always the first one over gesturing cards and pushing opposition players, lol.
  10. When Eden, Cesc and Pedro return then the goals will fly as they're out main three creative players and when you factor in we pretty much beat Spurs without them (Pedro came on for 10 mins) then that should be applauded.
  11. He was excellent against a pairing he usually gets dominated against. Run out of words to describe N'golo, he is brilliant and I think his technical ability is vastly underrated.
  12. It's a shame that he's not blessed with pace because if he was, he'd be one of the best in the world. Became a cult hero yesterday.
  13. Agreed. Sometimes we can watch certain games and have a negative/positive opinion over a player, main thing is that we smashed Tottenham!
  14. We have a player on our hands. Lets not forget, he wasn't full fit at all. He's as strong as an ox and has terrific box to box ability. In the bigger games, I would like to see him and N'golo play centrally with Cesc either just in front or just behind. This way we can control more of the tempo. Can't agree with this big blue. He was brilliant in the Champions League apart from one match against Juventus where he was quite poor. He's a terrific footballer.
  15. Double post.
  16. The good or the bad one? He reminds me of Torres in many ways. His running style, his burst of pace, his want to get it onto his right foot, shooting technique is similar. He's not as quick as Fernando but he's definietly stronger. Unfortunately, Morata has it in his locker to miss a few sitters. That seems to be the striker he is but it's not a problem if he's racking up goals. Lets not forget he was so isolated today. Costa would have struggled all the same. Morata is a bloody good player, good with the ball at his feet and possess some very good movement but at times he may come across fragile. At the end of the day, we're using to having a bloke up front who could start an argument with a postbox so we need to accustomise ourselves to the change!
  17. Big game this. Our form against the other big 5 away from home last season was a bit ropey. Lost 2-0 to Spurs and United, lost 3-0 to Arsenal as well. Sometimes, I think Antonio doesn't quite get it tactically right in these sorts of games. We can forgive him though as he's a brilliant manager. Spurs will be desperate to win this to prove there's no Wembley hoodoo, especially against a understrength Chelsea side who could be missing Hazard, Bakayoko and Pedro not to mention Cesc and Cahill are suspended. Expecting us to lose 2-0 but honestly wouldn't surprise me if it finished a cagey 1-1.
  18. Chelsea are a journos paradise. We meltdown bigger than anyone and we win better than most.
  19. Pot 2 looks better than Pot 1 does!
  20. I'd love to see more players like RLC in our side but take last season for example, he's not better than Kante, Cesc or Matic and therefore he won't get into the side. If he does and we end up losing, the pitchforks come out.
  21. Precisely which is why the club need to reign it in when it comes to wanting more youth because with that comes less chance of winning the league. If they want Conte to play youth players a lot then they have to sacrifice results at times, that's just the nature of the game nowadays.
