This is how i would sort things in the team. Bring back from loans Lukaku,Chalobah and McEachran.That way we have Lukaku and Ba for cover,our midfield would be Lampard,Ramires,Mikel,Romeu,Chalobah and Josh,the more offensive midfield positions would be Hazard,Oscar,Mata,Marin,Moses.The bench would be very strong this way even if we don't bring back Chalobah and Josh then i would buy a midfielder like Fellaini and we are ready to go for next season.In the past few seasons and the thing we really missed is a strong bench like we had when Jose was in charge.

Yeah i agree both sides would profit from this,but then again if we don't manage to get a good replacement it could be costly for us.

The topic says why we never produced a top striker not buy one.We had good strikers but none were from the academy.We did produce Jimmy Greaves he is one of top goalscorers ever and Spurs current number one.In the last decade we just bought players and our young players were never really given a decent chance,i don't see that part improving any time soon.

I would keep him since he can play right back and center back equally well.Even though 25 mill for his age should be taken seriously.If we do sell him who would be buy to replace him?

Rooney is a good striker and a good player but he is a mercenary who would sell his own mother.His attitude is sh*t and even the United fans turned on him,i would pass on this transfer and just play Lukaku who has bags of potential and if given a chance could be a better player than Rooney.
