Whether Flo is in the wrong or not (he is), he is still a Chelsea player and played a big part in the double winning season. Personally, I have never really rated him particularly highly, and his lack of effort in some games last season was unbelievable, but nobody should be abusing him behind their keyboard when they haven't got a clear idea of what is actually going on here. We don't want to get a reputation for treating out players like sh*t and having fans that will abuse the hell out of a player the second he allegedly does something wrong. Poor show from Malouda, but just as poor from some of the fans.

Agree with all the praise to Porto, they are absolutely fantastic at getting ridiculous amounts of money for their players (admittedly, mainly from us). Refused to meet Chelsea's offer and managed to get what they want yet again. Think it's a bit early to be giving Gourlay and Buck credit though. Bravo, they've not bent over for one transfer. Agree that theres no chance this was Robbies decision, played Meireles in a lot of big games. He had a tendency to go for the hollywood ball every other time he had the ball, which rarely worked, but he was a valuable squad player as he proved last season in the UCL. Can sort of understand this transfer because it paves the way for Oscar to get more playing time, what I can't understand is why we are selling players after the Englsih window has finished... As long as this results in Oscar or Romeu starting regularly, this almost makes sense. Anyone know when his contract expires? Ridiculous having a 30+ player on a long contract, if he's on one. Either way, have never felt he brings much to the side. Had a good half season under Carlo but apart from that has never been essential to the team. Would rather Piazon was considered backup instead of Malouda now.

Boga impressed at the end of last season too. Absolutely ridiculous how good he is for his age. Extremely talented side. High hopes for Billy, Chalobah, Ake, Kane, Feruz, Loftus-Cheek, Bamford and of course Boga. If none of these guys are in the first team in a few years we might as well just close down the academy and get rid of the youth team. A youth team doesn't come with much more potential than this.

I would happily chop of a finger if it meant Drogba won't go to Liverpool. I don't think the amount of fingers I still have directly affects who Didi plays for, but it's the thought that counts I guess. Pretty sure it's people jumping on what Martin Tyler said and taking it seriously. They can't afford his wages. Wouldn't fit into Rodgers' team style. Not sure if it's been mentioned already but apparently Loic Remy had a medical at Chelsea but his minor heart condition turned out to be more of a problem than CFC first thought. Probably just a rumour but very feasible, remember reading somewhere that Remy had issues joining Marseille from Nice because of his heart. If true it's a shame because he's a very good player with the potential to be absolutely class.

French window is still open and apparently he is there now, talking to clubs. Would expect him to be gone today tbh.

Shakhtar away is a grim fixture, a good result there will be the difference imo. I know Juve cleaned up last season but Serie A is nowhere near the standard it was, plus they have been trying to sign Berbatov, which shows that they're not exactly riddled with quality up front. If we had gotten one of those danger teams in pot 4, would be one hell of a tough group, but all in all; we should get through this on top. Oh and LOL @ Man City. Couldn't be any worse for them!
