  1. I unreservedly withdraw the tory remark - it was contemptuous & undeserved - and for that i apologize to you.
  2. mmmm...I see that you keep editing your posts after I've commented on same. I can only speculate on why that is.
  3. hehe...I did try to be civil to you given your quite ridiculous apologia - and thereby - support of the original calumny & your total lack of understanding of why those claims must be brought as soon as possible let alone the lack of empathy you show for those who wish to do so. In retrospect & given your rejoinder (which of course has not taken issue in any substantive sense with the material issues which I raised) I'll now take the liberty of amplifying my sensible & civil advice for you to shut up by saying that perhaps you should stick to commenting on subjects that you have a degree of knowledge on - such as perhaps, the sinking of the titanic? Is that more appropriate....courteous enough for you? Such a tory aren't you?
  4. You are entirely...how shall I put it...misguided: first, the findings of the 1st inquest were quashed so of no relevance whatsoever. The outcome of the 2nd & only recently concluded inquest will be paramount to any claims for compensation - so to say, as you do, that the outcome of the 2nd inquest "may be seen as separate issues" is complete nonsense, both in a strict legal sense and in a moral sense as well. Further, and entirely distastefully, and in an attempt to support the heresy of the earlier poster, you then euphemise "classless" to "inappropriate" in some sort of pathetic attempt to soften the calumny. In what imagined way is it "inappropriate"?!? Have you any idea what difficult legal hurdles those claims for compensation will face? Time-bars, estoppel/res judicata defences in some cases & the like. Those battles will take years & rest assured, and where most likely, insurers will be involved, will be keenly fought in respect to both liability & quantum. And should it be the case that those claims are not brought as early as possible and a deferred - that will also be made use by those insurers as far as mitigation of loss is concerned. So....shut up. OK?
  5. Classless?!? Non-caring?!? What entirely disgraceful comments. The relatives of those unlawfully killed have battled for justice for 27 years! How much longer should they wait for some sort of compensation for it not to be 'classless' in your eyes? No amount of money will ever bring back their loved ones and yet that is their only redress for all the suffering they have experienced. To impugn them as you do is a terrible calumny and akin to the entirely deceitful impugning that was promulgated by the south yorkshire constabulary, it's legal advisors & the gutter murdoch press for much of that period. Have you learnt nothing out of what has come to light? Shame on you.
  6. well....I was determined not to dip my oar in to this thread for two reasons: first because there was an existing thread & because albeit that some obviously want closure, perhaps finality even, concerning Jose, the reality is that his tenures, successes & failures at chels will be the subject of discussion for some years to come. Of course that'll wax & wane depending upon how we acquit ourselves into the future but rest assured, the successes & failures of every other manager who graces our club will always be compared and/or contrasted as against what Jose achieved here. Why? Because he was instrumental in redefining chels (even after his first tenure) & because he mostly delivered: the abundant silverware is testament to that: and the fact remains that he along with Fergie are the over-arching fathers of modern english football. Accordingly, like him or loathe him, respect him or slate him, any rhetoric that seeks to downplay the enormous influence & success that he has had over the last decade or so at this club is not only at times completely disingenuous but in some cases, downright foolish and even nasty. It's got to the stage where sometimes I just shake my head forlornly when I read certain posts on this thread & on many others concerning the on-going disparagement of Jose. he has made mistakes - which manager doesn't? It's a high pressure/high stakes existence. Moreover, who of any us from day to day don't make mistakes in what we do? We all do, possibly every day. is he culpable all by himself for where we find ourselves at present? Of course not. And not one of us who has stood by him has ever said otherwise. and I get angry at times when I see posters splitting hairs, cherry-picking, dissembling into trivialities or downright lying concerning Jose's achievements with us and with the other clubs that he has managed. is it too much to ask for some decency & perspective from some posters concerning the man? Perhaps it is. But I tell you what - when the better players at this club, porto, inter & real are asked for their thoughts on how instrumental Jose was in terms of their understanding & awareness it's usually pretty complimentary & with very few naysayers among them. In more recent days, Fabregas has been truthful & complimentary of Jose; Lukaku has stated that he would like the opportunity of playing under him again; even Gerrard has voiced his disappointment at never being able to play for him. And I have to say to all the naysayers concerning Jose that I put a lot more stock in the opinions of those who've played for him down the years & what they say than those who actively disparage him or seek to downplay his many achievements over the years.
  7. Some light reading for idiots: www.rationalwiki.org/wiki/Daily_Mail Knew you'd make a fool of yourself sooner than later.
  8. definitely aliens then...infecting the players...stopped 'em being able to translate Jose's grand-master plan....the fools!
  9. I don't think Courtois has ever been exactly happy to be here & I feel that his loyalties still lie with Atletico. His wife is spanish and if you throw in the fact that there'll be no CL for him here next season, I can understand why he's been somewhat cagey about where he may be next season. In that recent interview (of which we never received a comprehensive translation) I very much got the impression that he wanted out.
  10. I think Guus has achieved what he was asked to achieve - to steady the ship. He has not been perfect in every facet since he took over but I make absolutely no criticism of him for that: I was very relieved that he was available at such short notice & he has managed to galvanize what in reality is a pretty average squad when we compare that squad to years gone by. I think when he took over all I expected was for this squad to achieve a mid-table finish and that's been achieved. True it is that results at home have been poorish but we've done pretty well away. It's been a very odd season in so many respects: obviously very disappointing for us but in a sense I feel that we've been overdue for such a season - I mean we've had an incredible decade or so. I am very concerned about our trades at the end of the season because I feel very pretty underwhelmed with most of our trading over the last 3 years. Anyway - a new beginning for a different sort of Chels next year I expect which in itself is exciting.
  11. so....let me get this straight: first you pull up a poster over something which adds nothing substantive to the thread (and in circumstances where there was absolutely nothing wrong with that poster's spelling) and in doing so, you yourself make mistakes on the issue that you identify as so important. In so doing you derail the thread. Then, for good measure, rather than admit it & take advice in relation to same, you launch into other ad hominem attacks. One of the reasons why this site has gone down hill this season is you. You are a persistent troll who rarely if ever has any comment of any merit whatsoever. All you generally do is cause division. It will be a good day when you're finally banned from this site.
  12. Is that so? Just about every-time you chide a poster for their spelling you get something wrong yourself (ie. in this post of yours above and post 867 as well - which is not a sentence): a tip - when both spelling and grammar are not your forte (which in your case they're clearly not), don't play the ad hominem.
  13. So.....more than 2 days after you were initially asked by ploks to translate what Courtois had said in the material interview (that had been posted by you) & after further request for you to do so some 2 days later, this is the sum total of what you translated?! Of a 4 minute interview?! With respect, that is hopeless. We're no further down the path of having a comprehensive transcript.
  14. krc - just a suggestion - rather than wasting time at the moment replying to other posters opinions or asking questions of me, can you just work on translating the whole interview. At just under 4 minutes it is not a long interview.
  15. well.....it was you who posted the link to the interview at post # 499 some 2 days ago now. Immediately thereafter ploks at post # 500 asked you as to what he's said. What's the hold up exactly?
  16. Been watching this slanging match over the last few days but, as yet, no-one has posted a complete transcript of the latest & material Courtois interview: would you mind doing that Krc?
  17. f**k mod - in fear of being clumsy or unhelpful I haven't had the guts till now of expression on this but rest assured mate, everyday when I look at this site I think of you first & foremost & your grief of the most terrible unimaginable kind. Please try to remember to be good to yourself during the worst re-occurring moments - sometimes it's very easy to spiral quickly downward without knowing. We're sometimes a motley unforgiving lot when it comes to football & the club (and that's probably being kind to us) but most of us know the true value of what you do here: just try to take some small solace from that when it gets choppy in the days ahead.
  18. hehe....no: for the benefit of the recipient - the necessity of proof always lies with the person who lays charges you dolt in this case it is beyond dispute that it was Uxanga at post # 1639 who commenced the imbroglio by asserting (the rather circular statement) that Fergie was against (the appointment of) Jose because he didn't get the job. In those circumstances it is incumbent upon the asserter to establish the proof and not on those who deny the assertion. In order to shift the evidential burden of proof, Uxanga or the dolt or others have to provide evidence of some sort that Fergie was against the appointment of Jose at the material time. Neither have done so. Moreover, evidence as against the assertion has been provided herein by reference to what one of the material subjects has stated concerning his discussions with the other material subject: that evidence has been corroborated by others close to at least one of the material subjects.
  19. semper necessitas probandi incumbit ei qui agit vos dolt
  20. Zola - no 'not recent' but seems to fit all the other categories mentioned.
  21. well...as you recall I was onto your dirge from day one - last October was the first time you posted on the site wasn't it? nowadays I rarely bother with you since you rarely have anything of value to say - mostly you either parrot the bleedin obvious or the tabloids. but I'll always react to those who seek to censor this site and regardless of whether they're lightweights or otherwise.
  22. hehe....the irony. &, some what incredibly, newbie then asks the mods to censor or entirely erase a vital part of the recent history of the club on this site where there is an on-going fervent discussion. what an immense joke you are.
  23. Since when did the FA come to the view that the peace hand signal constitutes improper conduct? Since when did they come to the view that giving a fellow player & an openmouthed kiss on the neck also constitutes improper conduct? Hilarious. I think it's high time that they go after the goal celebrations next. I mean grown men showing affection for one another....outrageous!
  24. thoroughly sick of your malarkey & hyperbole as I am concerning your oft repeated 'neutral/non bias fan' reach which has been shown up for what it is: sterile polemic - you're a complete simpleton who continues to want to beat a rather threadbare drum which is that Mourinho is the only reason for our current predicament. It's completely dishonest.
  25. hehe...more tosh. The fact is that those who had a modicum of intelligence knew that half-way through last season after spuds taught us a lesson that this squad was over-achieving & on its last legs. That's why much later the owner didn't want to get rid of Jose - he knew by then if not before. But simpletons like you just want to to indulge in tabloidesque hyperbole & nonsense because it's so much easier isn't it. Tell me what have you ever done for the club?
