I think Ryan had the potential to be a ready made replacement for Ashley ... but clearly not? I feel the Villa loan IS the beginning of the end of a once bright young prospect for Chelsea. I suspect we will look to buy a ready made replacement, in the future and now won't promote from within ...

Chelsea 2-1 Man Utd ... Fingers crossed. I think this will be very, very tight. hopefully we just edge it ... I have to say I think we now look a better all round team when SFL isn't playing ... plus, no adv. was gained on our rivals with our win at Hull. Therefore, yet another must win, hopefully.

I never thought I'd say this but anything other than a win against them at home this year will definitely be points dropped IMO. We showed them too much respect at Old Trafford. Other Teams didn't and won comfortably! Therefore, if we go for the jugular a win, even a good win should be do-able. If we are cage'y 1-1 ... ?

It's great having Jose back, isn't it ... Just love the man's swagger ... plus u just know it will come right in the end. However, it's not been all plain sailing, so far as our main man settles back into the Prem. I think some of the team selections have held us back slightly, for example Jose's over-loyalty to Lamps who has struggled, at times with lack of pace. Essien, another faded legend shouldn't be picked. Allowing Lukaku out on loan has lost us goals & points IMO. Luiz & Mata should be played more - still 2 of our very best players, for me. Yet we find ourselves just 2 points behind the leaders. If we inject pace in the DM positions & overhaul the strike force during the Summer our squad can match City's. I think we easily have the best Manager. I also think Ivan should be rotated with Dave more. I guess arguably Mikel doesn't do a lot wrong but for me he is just too slow choosing the safest passing option all of the time ...

Hmmm, not easy ... 1-1 ... we comfortably beat them at home but I think this may be much closer ...

... Davy, I feel u may be right. Lamps - Mikel together do very little 4 me. Dave's a great player but would prefer him in his optimum position. Mata needs a run in the team to IMHO. I'd stick Luiz in DM instead of either Frank or Mikel ... or even experiment with William or Oscar to ensure Mata starts ...

Not confident, we're stumbling along this year. I think Jose would settle for a point but if we are to lay down a marker a win is what we need, esp. At home ... Hopefully we'll get the rub of the green again, as we did against city and the baggies and win 2-1 ...

I'm so pleased Jose's back and I want him to become our longest serving manager ever, finger's crossed but even tho' incredibly we are still in a great league position I feel we have taken an initial backward step, with on field performances compared to last year. Jose's team selections have contributed IMHO. Last year we won at man utd., Everton, Stoke, spurs, arsenal with solid performances ... Not so convincing this year ... Lamps is played much too much, mata should be played much, much more ... Etc.

Re-assessment - I think this will be a 1-1 draw ...
