Has to be Alex for me. Blocked a ton of shots and worked hard to the very end. Got beat by Torres for the goal but that's far more about Torres' class than a mistake by Alex. He played out of his mind.

I voted for Stoch on the basis that he had more attacking impetus in five minutes than the rest of the team in eighty-five...

Can't argue with that at all. When will Scolari give him more than five minutes? I know he hasn't the experience but he can't possibly be worse than Malouda and every time he's out there he works hard, plays the ball direct, creates danger. You know, he does winger things. Unlike Malouda who just f**ks around and passes it to the other team.

This is getting more and more pointless by the week. Has to be between Cech, Alex and JT, but after a 2-0 defeat where we were totally toothless, how can we have a MOTM?

Has to be Alex - yes he lost Torres for the goal but he put his heart and soul into that match today. If he doest win this vote its a disgrace.

Half the team should be embarrassed with themselves and be forced to watch a video of the way they played.

And i have no doubt some fool will come on here and say MOM was Mike Riley and if so they need to get real and get their heads out of the sand.

Have to disagree with you here. We were never going to win, but I think we were slowly improving and that scrawny c**t might well have cost us a point.

I was just waiting for Liverpool to score in that second half. After the sending off it was simply a matter of time, the fact they had to wait until the very end shows how poor they really are.

Yes it was a shocker of a decision (almost as bad as not sending of Boswinga at the end !) but lets not kids ourselves, that sending off did not change the game.

The right team won today. I defy any Chelsea fan to argue that. We were sh*t on a stick long before Riley started playing his comical coloured cards game.

Do we need to the whole MOTM today? I mean team was s**t today, even Alex wasn't that good...and on Torres's first goal, he was a bit slow which allowed Torres to score...my question is: how the hell Chelsea got so crap in a so short period of time? that is beyond me

I went for Alex too. He was a rock in defence.

Can't understand why anyone would vote for Cech. I love the guy but he looked shakey throughout and is not the world class keeper he was before his injury.

Alex, as I said in the other thread..after a couple of below par performances he was a Rock today, may Could have done better on one costly occasion but had the other 10 been as commited we'd have done far better.

nobody else really came close.

I can't believe Cech and Mikel have got any votes to be honest.

I think people are still rating Cech on past performances and can't see him for what he's become in the past couple of seasons. I think people are overlooking Mikel's shortcomings too - he's not the defensive supremo people seem to think he is, often loses his player, isn't very quick and his sideways distribution is part of what slows our game down so much and causes us to stutter when attacking.

the away support gets my vote, they were superb

if i've got to give it a player, then i'm going give it to alex, who played out of his skin, by the time the torres got in-front of him for 1st goal alex was totally bolloxed and was on his last legs, and thats the only reason the little twat got in-front of him

i voted alexs and i will quite happily admit i was wrong abou thim. he was magnificent yesterday and only made one mistake. unfortunately that mistake was not attackinh the ball in that torres scored from. other than ash cole and mikel the rest were pathetic at best. cech was at fault as much as alex for the first goal, terry was all over the place, the midfield was non-existent, and the less said about kalou, malouda, drogba and anelka the better.
