Between Mikel and lampard for me. Opted for Lampard due to the goal being pretty much down to him and also the fact that whilst Mikel played well it has to be said West Ham made it fairly easy for him.

I went with Cech. He saved us today. Also, how often do we get to see a Chelsea keeper save a penalty?

Mikel, Lampard, Malouda, and Mancienne all had pretty good games. Malouda's delivery wasn't too good so I can't give it to him. Mikel had that clearance off the line as well as stopping quite a bit. Mancienne looks great.

Malouda for me, but MMM, Cech and Lampard get honourable mentions.

I don't know what Hiddink's teaching that boy, but I wish he'd give some to Kalou as well...

I voted Lamps, especially for creating the goal, but a good game for Cech and Malouda as well. Malouda especially looked like he was the only one who brought some edge and urgency into our game in the first half.

I considered Cech as well, not just because of the penalty save but also he made a couple of other important stops. However he also looked iffy again on cross balls and nearly cost us.

Frank Lampard, with extra kudos for putting in another top class performance at Pikey Park.

Mancienne for me, he hardly put a foot wrong and looked really comfortable on the ball - and he's bloody fast too!

Having said that, Cech, Lampard & Mikel also had very good games

I am gonna go off the map and choose Ivanovic. I am fully cognizant that I have a man crush on the guy, but every time he put in a challenge today it was the right one. But part of the reason he was able to look so good is that Mancienne and Bosingwa had excellent games, and the midfield absolutely controlled the game

Went for Lampard - created the goal and once again put in a stellar performance away to the Hammers. What a classy bunch the Spammers are. The gap between their mythical view of themselves and their antics is second only to Liverpool's.

Frank Lampard was different class.

It's absolutely unbelievable that there are six players better than him in this country. He's been outstanding. Week after week he's the best player at Chelsea.

He was again today. For Kalou's goal he makes a run into the box, gets to the line and all he can do is dink it to the far post without the goalkeeper cutting it out and he does it perfectly, absolutely perfectly.

Kalou chests it down and smashes it into the roof of the net. It was all down to Frank Lampard.

Love Merson, often refers to Chelsea as "us", which considering his time as Arsenal, is quite nice, he remembers where he stood as a kid.

no Ivan to pick from either. It really has to go to Frank, but I chose Cech for the penalty save, and it was good to see him get some confidence. They were certainly instructed to mess with him and put pressure on him during corners, but he performed well other than that one flap!
