I've changed my mind

I'm with you on this one. I never regarded him as a traitor. He was always a Blue, and did some amazing things for us. Loved to watch that man play football, and was a key part in some of the best games I've ever been lucky enough to watch.

If Poyet was a traitor, then so is Carlo And Hoddle never did any good. Need the list go on.

Doesn't matter what you do when you are cashing in an early pension, wearing a dirty white shirt, its what you do wearing the Blue one that counts.

I'm sorry, but someone that leaves Chelsea, goes to Tottenham, and then comes back and scores against his old club and runs infront of the fans that used to cheer him on, and kisses the cock of Spuds infront of those fans is the ultimate insult. And then he went on to f**king be in a managerial position for them. Fu** him!

As someone who was there when he did it, it still winds me up whenever I see him on TV. People who believe some of Drogba's antics show a mark of disrespect for our club and our fans need to watch a video of Poyet's behaviour that night. It went way beyond disrespect.

Sure, great player. But a Tottenham c*nt and always will be.

Disgraceful Thread. Why would someone start this on Cup Final Day ?

I was there that night and I took it personally. As did the other 3000 Chelsea fans. Those who say it doesnt matter dont understand what it is with Spurs, and perhaps as well dont understand full stop.

Blokes a c**t.

bang on, horrible tosser. compare that to the way jimmy floyd acted when he scored against us, jimmy has the club in his heart. poyets just a c**t.

This. He really showed his true colours when he kissed the filthiest of badges and got sh*t on his lips.

I did think he was a judas C, but I have also forgiven him now.

He has apologised and explained himself several times about the cock kissing thing, and has consistently pledged his love for Chelsea ever since.

Forgive and forget I say.

Now, judas gallas, that is another story.....

I have never hated Poyet for what happened as much as say Just and BJD do. Partially because I think the club treated him badly and partially because I think it was a terrible mistake which I believe he genunely regrets.

However if I had actually been in the crowd that day, like Just and BJD were, I am not convinced I would be as forgiving as I am now.

I'm curious now, what was his explanation? I don't see how it's even possible to try and justify what he did tbh

I really think you should consider rephrasing that!

:( :D ...not really. That's exactly what he did (both literally and metaphorically).

He explained how he has always been passionate for any club that he has played for. He was just giving his all for his new club.

He also made it clear that it was never his choice to leave Chelsea.

He realised afterwards that the cock kissing was disrespectful to Chelsea, and he shouldn't have done it.

He has always said that Chelsea is his ONLY cliub, and he loves us forever.

I do REALLY understand why some people feel extremely angry about his time at spuds, but he has shown enough remorse for me to forgive and forget.

I have so many fantastic memories of his time with us I am willing to forgive his very stupid mistake.

At least he's not Gordon Durie

thats true. mr "i want to go back north" durie, the horrible w**ker.

He realised afterwards that the cock kissing was disrespectful to Chelsea.....

::clap2:: Nobody ever told me that! I promise NEVER to do it again. Geezer is going to be SO disappointed, but hey, he ought to have told me, shouldn't he? ::clap2::

BUT WHAT A GREAT DAY!! :D

I stayed at one of the hotels at Stamford Bridge, so I got to see a lot of Chelsea TV :rainbowdance: Poyet made an appearance, and I have to admit that once I put my Spuds rage aside, I still liked him.... I wouldn't mind seeing him back in some coaching role.

Classic haha.

What about Gazza? Not Chelsea I know but Spuds and Rangers... He may be a flute playing hero to some 'Blues Brothers' but he's a cock wearing twat to the Chelsea third of the 'brothers'.
