ELO, seriously? Are they still around? Loved putting some ELO songs on my Spotify playlist, god, they made some great, catchy songs  back in the day... Although I OBVIOUSLY wasn't around then

In memory of Ginger Baker who has passed away. 

 

 

Apparently a lot of people were searching for this guy ('Looking for the Sugarman'), but in fact he never really went away. There just wasn't much bother for him in the music markets that mattered. By 1972 a Jose Feliciano/Donovan soundalike with epic Bobby Goldsboro backing tracks, and Dylonesque lyrics wasn't much in demand. Now his work seems quite exotic. This track is my favourite, and his least overproduced.
