It was always unlikely that this album was going to be anything other than brilliant and im happy to say it is utterly brilliant.

Loved it from the first moment i heard it, which is unusual from me, and for LCD records in general too.

Album of the year so far by far, and it was always going to be for me i think.

American Pie - Don McLean. i'd forgotten how beautiful some of the songs on that album are. look past the title track and vincent and you find a little gem like this:

I've just got back from Lady Gaga at the O2. Went to see her in February and decided we'd best sit (thanks to my epilepsy) but wanted to go back to our regular standing for this. Love her/hate her - she puts on a non-stop show and her singing voice (which is live, not mimed) is so strong... so at the moment I'm listening to Bad Romance :D

A couple of my friends saw her in Cardiff in Febraury, said she was amazing, looked at footage on YouTube/their camera's and she did seem pretty epic. One to catch in the future I think.

Off Topic a bit, but do any of you young smartarses knowledgeable people know what logic or selection criterion is applied when you have your ipod on shuffle songs? I'm tryin to identify why some songs or artists keep cropping up and some never do. For instance, I seem to get an un-natural amount of Nickelback when I only have two albums out of some 3000 songs on there
