Today I've been listening to some Northern Soul...

Northern Soul is just like Aldi Soul - It sounds a bit like proper Soul, just not as good.

Northern Soul and 'proper' Soul were very similar in some ways - both produced classic tracks and both produced crap (in my ever so humble opinion)

One of the reasons I miss Lofty being out and proud these days is because he used to post links to Soul and Funk d*wnl**d sites. That and Mike O (peace and blessings be upon him) sent me not one but FOUR amazing funk CDs. For nothing!
