Drogba by a mile.

Ivanovic had two assists and Anelka was quite lively, but that is all.

Drogba for me as well. Anelka ran him a very close second.

I may need to ban Ballack's blackberry IP address! Shame on him for voting for himself. At least Frank accepts he was rubbish!

Ivanovic for me , did everything that was asked of him. Drogs ran him close great forward play but for me his header if he was to make it should have been a clearing one for the 3rd goal.

I know how immense Drogs and Ivan were today but my vote is going to Nico. He didn't stop all game and was superb. I said in match chat how Nico is playing the best football with us since Arsenal and that is clear to see this and last season.

Stop press, Bluebeard Praises Frenchie!

Thanks for pointing that out, SB, I've now washed my mouth out with acid and dipped my keyboard in caustic soda :431:

Had to pick Drogba. Honorable mention to Carvalho, I don't recall him being at fault for any of the goals and thought he played well but can't pick a defender when we give up three.

There were only 3 players that I even considered voting for, Ivanovic, Anelka and Drogba.

Drogba got the nod.

Difficult choice , but Drogba again proves he's the best centre forward in world football, the guy is beyond words , he has everything and today he put in another performance that earns him the praise he rightly deserves.

Anelka is hard to leave out , great on the ball, worked hard and ran Drogs close.

Ivan , is there a better player in the premiership in that position ?

Ivanovic for me

Can't remember the last time we saw so much action coming from the right of midfield. Seriously, I can't. Long may it continue because with Ballack and Joey WAY off form there's fark all in the middle.

BTW: all you 'worrying decline of Frank Lampard' people, I paid particular attention to him yesterday and his passing was as controlled and influential as ever. If he's on the wane it's about 2 metres below the summit of a snow capped mountain. He'd have to be absailing down before any real worries should surface.

Ivanovic; the most consistent Chelsea player by a Serbian mile. First name on the team sheet.

Anelka for his overall performance.

Drogba is just quality, we do not need to make him Man of the Match, he is man of the season and man of this club right now.

Ivanovic is quality, get him signed up quickly before Madrid come sniffing, Alex needs to start next match.

Take him out of the game and let them see the difference, he goes about his job quietly nowadays.

My vote went to Drogba. He's in the form of his life at the moment and we'll miss him bigtime when he goes away i January.

The same with Essien, although I wont miss Kalou :)

Drogs.

I would love to give honorable mentions to Terry and Cech for costing us two points. At the same time I'm glad it was JT who played badly as he will improve at any cost. He's been brilliant for us in most games this season. Also would like to see someone steal Cech's sponsor helmet and burn it. That is our unlucky charm not the third kit.

My vote went to Didier Drogba. He had a super game yesterday up front. It was a shame that the two goals that he scored did not win the game for the Chels. Hopefully he can continue his scoring form on Wednesday night against Portsmouth.

Ivanovic for me. In an underperforming defence he seems to be getting better and better as the season progresses (unlike several other players I could mention)
