It's so so brilliant and really didn't get the mainstream attention it deserved. Secretan and Statham are two of the funniest characters I've seen.

Just bought the entire box set, including the seriously weird final,Christmas special episode, from Amazon for onyl 25 quid. Absolute bargain!

Marine Boy was my favourite programme when I was about 5 or 6. I WAS Marine Boy (hence having it as my avatar on the old CSR).

And I was on Magpie. Met Susan Stranks, Tony Bastable & Pete Brady. Spent the day at Teddington TV Studios 'cos I was one of 4 kids who came up with the name Murgatroyd for the bird. Didn't enjoy my day as much as I should have though as it meant I missed Marine Boy on TV that day!!

As for modern animated crumpet, Lois from "Family Guy" and Francine from "American Dad" ain't at all bad.

Family Guy is better than The Simpsons now, yes, but it will never topple it as the most successful cartoon ever made.

I'm not that fussed on American Dad, it's more aimed at the Americans and I don't quite get the jokes either...

I don't get South Park. I've watched a few episodes, and the humour just doesn't appeal to me. What I really, really don't get though is that South Park is much more obviously offensive than Family Guy, and Family Guy get's banned?
