Wasted a lot of my life watching those shows.

Love How I met your mother, Big Bang Theory, Top Gear and Chuck

Was addicted to Smallville back in the day, but lost track of it, when it was stopped being aired in regular timeslots in Australia.

Was also strangely fond of Kyle XY....and was dissapointed it was canceled on a cliff hanger.

Used to watch Lost all the time...before again, timeslot changes here made it hard to keep track off...but was hooked in again for the last season. Have always watched House.

Not all really cult tv...but they're some of my favourite shows.

Same for me, was really into it but they just kept jumping from seasons and was all mixed up over here so lost track, I do however think of buying the full season box when it comes out.

I have 5 seasons on dvd...might get the rest if I have nothing else to watch one day hahaha

Haha yeah you should, really a brilliant series once you get into it as you know. Seen a few episodes from the latest season and it seems to only get better and better. Isn't season 10 going to be the last one?

I'm not sure if it's been mentioned, but I think Lars von Trier's "Kingdom" is definitely a cult TV series. It's a shame he wasn't able to finish the series, though.

ah, Riget, i absolutely loved that one, great story and fantastic characters. there should be more series like that.

von Trier appearing in the end credits for every episode - priceless. unfortunately by the time he finished the third season a couple of regulars cast members had passed away so it was kind of impossible to continue the series. shame, really.

I think the three shows, or mini-series that qualify as must see or cult for me are Allo' Allo' (the show always brings a smile to my face just by the use of simple jokes), I, Claudius (Incredible acting and incredible book as well, and it has Patrick Stewart with hair, need I say more), finally the mini-series Band of Brothers (incredibly well made, and I read the books and memoirs of the soldiers of the 506th and the whole series is well made and pretty accurate to the events).

I've just got into a SyFy (I feel dirty spelling it that way) original series called Warehouse 13. It's not the greatest show by any stretch of the imagination, but it has it's own charm and manages to remain very watchable.

Most of what I watch now are comedies, haven't found a drama to get me hooked in awhile, although I did just finish all of Six Feet Under and am about to start The Wire through Netflix. Anyways, How I Met Your Mother, Modern Family, Community, 30 Rock, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, Archer, The League, South Park....that's what dominates most of my DVR box.

I can't imagine the F/X shows get much play outside of America, but Archer, It's Always Sunny, Louie, The League....I find all of those to be really funny. Combine that with F/X's dramas (The Shield was fantastic, so was early Nip/Tuck) and that channel has some good entertainment on it.

Modern Family is brilliant, one of the best family sitcoms in a very, very, very long time.

Agreed, I remember the advertisements for it before it started and I hardly had any hope that it would be close to decent, but once I started to watch it I found it very entertaining.

Peter Gunn. directed by Blake Edwards, shot in glorious black & white with a wonderful cool jazz soundrack. TV noir if you like. it's a little before my time but a while ago i bought both series 1 and 2 on a recommendation and i'm seriously glad i did.

here's a clip from an episode called "The Blind Pianist":

Seconded, one of very few comedies I "laugh out loud" at. Can't wait for the DVD :D

I've been watching a lot of Trailer Park Boys in the last few days, and I find it to be hilarious.

It is confirmed as excellent by the fact that one of the main characters worships Rush as much as I do.

Heard so many good things about Dexter in the past, so seen as series 4 started last week, I thought I'd watch it to see if I could pick it up. Only seen a few episodes so far, but my God it's superb. It's that mix between drama, thriller and horror, it's brilliant. Will be catching series 1 - 3 over the coming months online, can't wait!

Seen all seasons of it so far, love it. Can't wait for the new season to start! So far season 3 has to be the best season and hoping season 4 will turn out to be great as well.

To all the viewers of the US shows like LOST, 24 etc. There is a new show starting on the 20th september in the US called The Event, looks really interesting. I've been craving a new show and im hoping The Event delivers.

I really liked Flashforward which was cancelled after 1 season so I really don't want to give a new show a chance before knowing it won't be cancelled after 1 season again!!

Same! I don't think I can give a new show as much time and dedication as I did to Flashforward with the possibility of it breaking my heart after series one!

I also enjoyed flashforward, however the main character i didn't really warm too as much in other programs. Like in Fringe, i think Walter Bishop is brilliant and the same with Jack Bauer on 24. Lost was different since it had numerous different main characters and stories for them.

However the Mark guy just put me off it and i never really got into it like i did with the other shows. So i haven't really missed it as much as you guys i imagine, i am missing Lost though. I don't think i'll ever watch another TV show again and become enthralled in it like i did with Lost.

Just watched The Walking Dead which premiered yesterday in USA, I loved it and if it keeps this quality I reckon it will be a cult one - anyone who loves zombies should really watch it its amazing!
