May 21, 201016 yr Author Gods I hope Fringe gets full slow soon, the suspense is killing me. I've just watched the first of the 2-part season finale and its amazing. Next Friday can't come soon enough.Other shows: Prison Break Jericho Get Smart The Saint Star Trek : The Next Generation Just finished watching the Fringe season 2 finale, wow what a way to end it and set it up for the next season. I hope Lost can follow that.
August 10, 201015 yr Anyone on here a fan of The Wire? I just finished season 1 and it's fantastic, really shows what you can do when you don't have to worry about ratings and sponsors.
August 10, 201015 yr Just started watching Lost, season 1 episode 7 so far. Decided to give it a shot even though I always thought it was way to confusing, we will see after awhile what I think about it.

I bought seasons 1 and 2 on DVD and really enjoyed them, but I ended up having to put the sub-titles on in order to understand what they were saying!

August 10, 201015 yr Just started watching Lost, season 1 episode 7 so far. Decided to give it a shot even though I always thought it was way to confusing, we will see after awhile what I think about it. Stick with it, it's worth it in the end. Just avoid all spoilers AT ALL COSTS. It took 6 years of my life, and I'm glad I gave 6 years to Lost - one of my favourite TV shows ever.

August 10, 201015 yr Crikey! That must be more than a third of your life, isn't it? In a few weeks, it'll be a third exactly!
August 10, 201015 yr Author Anyone have any decent new T.V series for me to watch or any series that have got going just recentley for a season or two? Now Lost has ended and Fringe has gone for a season, there is seriously nothing decent on T.V anymore.

Now Lost has ended and Fringe has gone for a season, there is seriously nothing decent on T.V anymore. Well if you are a vampire-lover then go with the flow and watch True Blood. I love it. And even if you don't like it, the show has alot of sex in it, so... I'm currently also waiting for the new season of The Inbetweeners to start (seems like it won't be on for awhile though). Good comedy.
August 10, 201015 yr Author I've watched some of True Blood, i can see why it's popular but im prefer shows like 24, Lost and Fringe. I guess i have high expectations and i tend to watch American shows and fail to give the new British shows a chance. Also watched Inbetweeners and for me it was funny at first and just got tedious, im looking forward to the pilot of The Event which looks 24'ish but 9 times out of 10 it will get axed.
August 11, 201015 yr True Blood is great. It's not as good as Lost/Fringe/24, Sheva, but it's worth a look. If you stick with it, it makes an entertaining watch. I'm gutted FlashForward got cancelled. It had potential to be a new Lost, and what makes it worse, they give us such a huge cliffhanger ending, and we'll never see what happens next. So unfair. The Inbetweeners is great, but I see it as more of a teenagers comedy than adults, personally. If you want a decent British show, have a look at The Deep, it'll be on iPlayer as you've missed the first 2 episodes, but it's quite a good watch!
August 11, 201015 yr Anyone on here a fan of The Wire? I just finished season 1 and it's fantastic, really shows what you can do when you don't have to worry about ratings and sponsors. I posted something in here looking for reassurance because I had heard about the Wire and was struggling a tad with series 1. Most people told me to stick with it and I'm so glad I did. It was shown almost consecutively here and I loved it so much I have bought the complete DVD boxed set. As for The Deep, my HDR decided after 8 minutes that it wasn't worth recording. I watched that first 8 minutes to see if I should iPlayer it and decided not to bother - but, each to their own! PS - I'm gutted to find out that Flash Forward has been cancelled through the medium of a piss-poor football forum! - Is that cancelled after series 1, that we have seen in the UK or was there a second series made? Agree, True Blood is good and im following it but Lost has just got me hooked right now, its just awesome. And yeah, I followed flashforward as well and the way the last episode ended I just can't see why they would cancel it? I guess it wasn't that popular over in the states?
August 17, 201015 yr And yeah, I followed flashforward as well and the way the last episode ended I just can't see why they would cancel it? I guess it wasn't that popular over in the states? Lack of viewers in America, apparently. Aswell, I read somewhere that it was cancelled because of an "over-complicated plot". I love Lost, but if Lost hasn't got an "over-complicated plot", then I have no idea what an "over-complicated plot" is.
August 17, 201015 yr Two of my favorite TV series at the moment are Leverage and Chuck, I don't know if you can call them cult but they are good watches. Would recommend both especially Chuck. Good site for watching TV Shows and Films is www.fastpasstv.com (use wisevid link if there is one)
August 18, 201015 yr Prison Break House Simpsons Batman (the Adam West version) Murder She Wrote (Angela Lansbury!!!) Kung Fu
August 18, 201015 yr Columbo (60's/70's- not 90's) Rockford Files The Equaliser Grange Hill (78-80) The Gaffer George and Mildred The Other One (cult comedy with richard briers).
August 18, 201015 yr Not sure if it's been mentioned already, but one show that was great but lived for too short a time was Deadwood.
August 18, 201015 yr I'm not sure if it's been mentioned, but I think Lars von Trier's "Kingdom" is definitely a cult TV series. It's a shame he wasn't able to finish the series, though.
August 18, 201015 yr 4 best animation shows: South Park Family Guy Simpsons Futurama Wasted a lot of my life watching those shows. Love How I met your mother, Big Bang Theory, Top Gear and Chuck Was addicted to Smallville back in the day, but lost track of it, when it was stopped being aired in regular timeslots in Australia. Was also strangely fond of Kyle XY....and was dissapointed it was canceled on a cliff hanger. Used to watch Lost all the time...before again, timeslot changes here made it hard to keep track off...but was hooked in again for the last season. Have always watched House. Not all really cult tv...but they're some of my favourite shows.
