What we're actually doing is getting rid of players we didn't really want to lose and now having the more difficult task of replacing them, and still needing to off load around 15 players we don't need and buying a striker, defensive mid, and a new goalkeeper. Don't forget the Vision List. We are still working on the Vision List. Acquiring the best teenager players from all over the world.

I remember this guy from Vision On. He may be small and bald, but he's very pliable and versatile in a number of positions. A truly generational talent.

It's 8 June, I'll start grumbling and worrying on 8 August if there's no progress.

Looks like he could be morphed into a decent DM given the proper coaching and moulding. https://www.90min.com/posts/chelsea-what-is-vision-2030 Edited June 8, 20233 yr by TheCeleryKing

It's not the lack of progress or signings its the fact we could lose Jorginho, Kovacic, Kante, Mount, and Havertz in 6 months. Thats essentially the core of the Chelsea team ripped apart. Even if we do replace these players with top quality replacements isn't Pochettino going to be in the same position as Potter with a load of players that have only just met? It can't be a good idea going in to the new season with only Thiago, Chilwell, James, and Kepa who have know each other for more than a season. That plus there's a big possibility we could lose all these useful players and be stuck with Pulisic and Zyiech.
June 9, 20233 yr Some really useful free signings available this summer: - Marcus Thuram (AC Milan and PSG interested) Would be a good option up top - Daichi Kamada (Liverpool and AC Milan interested) Not a huge need but if Mount leaves could be a good, cheap option as backup to Nkunku - Adrian Rabiot (Juventus want to resign) Talented player and experience at the highest level but a bit of a c**tish attitude, potential to down tools - Wilfred Zaha (Roma and Saudi interested) Could be a good option up top - Houssem Auour (Roma interested) Was wanted by Arsenal the last couple of windows, not sure he's what we need currently though - Moussa Dembele (Everton interested) We wanted him when he was at Celtic apparently. Lacazette's return pretty much killed him this season but scored 22 goals in 36 games the season before - Icardi (one year left on his deal, PSG could sell cheap) Has just won Galatasaray the league scoring 23 goals in 26 games. Obvious attitude issues in his personal life but we've always thrived on having a bit of a c**t up top

THey have linked up well together and if we moved Pulisic on I woulkdn't see a drop in quality either.

Icardi just bought the most expensive car in the world.
June 10, 20233 yr Am I the only one who would like Schmeichel in as a stop gap until Slonina (or someone else) is ready? I heard weeks ago he wants a return to England, and I'd like him at Chelsea.

There must be a pretty good chance that after the dust has settled, and players have departed, that the top scorer left at the club will be Reece James on 11 career Chelsea goals LOL, followed by Sterling and Chilwell on 9. Time to build a new core I guess ... 🙂

We won the champions league with this squad only 2 years ago, and only have 2 average goalkeepers, 2 injury prone fullbacks and an old man remaining if rumours of who are leaving are true. Mendy Azpilicueta Thiago Silva Rudiger James Kante Jorginho Chilwell Mount Werner Havertz subs Caballera Kepa Alonso Emerson. Christensen Zouma Gilmour Kovacic Hudson-Odoi Pulisic Ziyech Giroud
