Really thought we were off to Wembley when speedo scored early, even in defeat that is still possibly the night game that first springs to mind when thinking back, over 32 years ago and still can't describe the atmosphere that night from 2 hours before till 2 hours after, as a 15 year old at the time, It will always stay with me

And as they burst out of the traps, Bert Murray has walked out while it's a pretty even break between, Boyle, Venables, Harris and McCreadie. McCreadie's getting bogged down on the inside while Boyler's is showing the better early pace to the first corner.

Look at those conditions! Brilliant. Imagine some of the pampered Premiership players being asked to play in those conditions.

They'd have a temper tantrum...

That looks like Peter Brabrook.

Yes he was a fine player. I remember he came on at half time when we were 3 - 0 down away to Sheff Wed in the League Cup. He completely changed the game. 4 - 4 it finished after ET. We couldn't believe the turn around, especially after some of my mates wanted to go home at HT. Almost won the game apart from big Doug gave away a penalty when we were leading 4-3.

Did you remember the song during the that game 3-0 Down 4-3 Up Rougvie goes and f**ks it up!!!!

As graceful as he was, Bonetti was also tough as nails playing as he did at a time when goalkeepers could found themselves on the receiving end of some rough treatment from opposition centre forwards. Badly nobbled after an aerial challenge by Mick Jones in the 1970 FA Cup final replay, he soldiered on with one good leg through extra-time to secure the trophy for the Blues...look at the gash to his upper right thigh...Chopper looks ready to inflict some retribution...anyone remember Eddie Mac's King fu kick to Bremner's head?

I remember Eddie Mac doing his Kung Fu kick on Bremner. It's on you tube highlights and the ref simply waves play on...
