September 15, 201510 yr Check out that 3-5-2 formation. What year is that from, 1996? Yeah 96/97 as you can see the ground being developed always that's Hughes and Luca up front
September 15, 201510 yr Yeah 96/97 as you can see the ground being developed always that's Hughes and Luca up front I recognise LeBouf in defense and think that's Scott Minto in the left wing. Any idea who this was against? Looks a bit like Blackburn maybe? I remember seeing us play them on the last day of the 96 season and I think the wore a kit similar to that, think we lost 3-2 that day if I remember right.

My guess and it is a guess that it might be Wimbledon. I was thinking the F.A. Cup in 1996 but i can't see Gullit and Vialli hadn't signed.
September 15, 201510 yr I can make out Vinny Jones we got bet 4-2 Not in the cup in 1996 it was 2-2 we beat them in the replay. Edit: Your right about the league game. Like i said it is a guess but i'm now pretty sure it's Wimbledon. Edited September 15, 201510 yr by Wrote For Luck

September 16, 201510 yr That picture is from the 4-2 defeat in the league. Notice the bandage on Frank Leboufs head.Efan Ekoku and Marcus Gayle gave him a right going over early on. They obviously targeted him thinking he wasn't up to the physical nature of English football.

September 17, 201510 yr Ive just been in reciept of some old footy progs....As i didnt support Blues till 67/68 season im giving someone who collects old progs the chance to win a 1965 cup home prog v Huddersfield for their collection....First one to pm me gets it free.....
September 17, 201510 yr Mark Stein scoring a goal against Tottenham in 1994! That isn't him scoring. He did indeed score twice in the game but one was a half volley in the six yard box (from a corner) and the other was the pen that hit the stauntion. The other game is Wimbledon 96/97 in the league. Minto and Vialli pen (I think Minto scored. Free kick if I remember correctly).
September 18, 201510 yr liverpool`s support that day was laughable....couldn`t even fill two spaces Edited September 18, 201510 yr by Devil Dog
September 18, 201510 yr liverpool`s support that day was laughable....couldn`t even fill two spaces I don't understand? I thought their support is still laughable especially on those "special nights"
September 18, 201510 yr Liverpool must have been allocated the whole of the North Stand when the draw was made. I was in there that day and we must have outnumbered them two to one on that terrace. European champions, top of the league, very poor turnout. We were in the bottom half of the old second division with no chance of going up and were taking 4000 to the likes of Barnsley, Grimbsy and Rotherham, the infamous 6-0 game.
