Were Cooke and Tambling any good for Palace?

Not as good as they were for Chelsea, that's for sure. We got the pair of them at their peak.

Is that v wolves in cup 1/4 final 94?

Not sure. Found the photo on facebook and it doesn't give any info about when it was taken. Was at the 1/4 and am trying to remember if there was a pitch invasion. When I first saw the picture I thought it might be the last game of the season 1993-1994: the last game before the old Shed End was closed for re-building. Difficult to tell who we are playing.

Yes I was there in the west, peacock scored only goal wolves were situated up in the  east upper, there was a pitch invasion with the big blue flag being paraded round pitch, blue smoke bombs in shed as well, which was different

Was in the Shed for the Wolves game. Remember the blue flag being paraded. Have also looked at the photo again and it looks like the opposition is playing in red and white. Arsenal? Or Sheffield United? We played Sheffield United in the last game of the old Shed End.

It does definitely look like Arsenal when enlarging the photo.

Thanks. I think you're right. Can just about make out the white sleeves on the opposition shirts.

Good selection of cars as well. Looks kike an XJS Jaguar in the middle of the picture.

Played on a proper pitch. The crowd surges bring many memories too.

Nowadays, you get players on the TV post match and they're all clued up, told what to say and how to say it by their elocution teachers. With Jimmy hill desperately trying to keep the conversation flowing, Hudson looked like he'd been up all night and couldn't care f**k one way or the other. I had to laugh.

@old git agreed on that. He didn't come across as the brightest button in the box. Good player though, pity it all went sour with us. Some good tackles in that game too, one on Ossie in the second half was particularly choice and he just got up and shrugged it off.

Not Wolves in the 1/4 in 94 as there were no cars around the outside and the away end in the North stand was still open.

Are you sure away end open for wolves game, I could of sworn queing for tix for the final and matt harding stand going up?

Wolves were in the east upper 100% , was in the benches that day , on the pitch at the end with everyone singing the bubbles song thinking we would play West Ham in the semis only for Luton to beat them .

@chi blue Chaps you were correct on both counts - cars and east stand, memory was deceiving me
