And Chelsea at Arsenal mid 90's. Talking of pin badges and Rovers away, I’m working at the redevelopment of Battersea Power Station, was in the smoking area when I noticed a fella with a poppy CFC pin badge- got chatting away turns out he’s one of the old Hounslow crew. Was telling me he’s had a complaint from the STH that sits next to him, ( new breed supporter objecting to his language) had to write an explanation letter to the club. Went on to say he did get banned, and his name put in the programme after the Rovers game 40 years back mind I used to like the Union Jack pin badges with Chelsea running through them.

February 17, 20197 yr Got my ticket stubs somewhere. Laughed reading through the letter from the programme about the trouble at eastville, where it states about trying to have pay on the day and not All ticket games!! It’s just the norm now, no just turning up last minute and paying to get in.
February 18, 20197 yr Beating Man Utd 3 - 2 at The Bridge on 15th March 1969. In front of 60,436 Our scorers were: David Webb in the first minute, Ian Hutchinson in the 28th minute and Bobby Tambling in the 54th minutes. About 40 mins of highlights. It was the Match of the Day Game.

If you watch the game on YouTube half the team don’t have the badge or logo on their shirts. Kit wasn’t used that often, the white shirts were worn more often
February 19, 20197 yr Cardiff 84 kicked off everywhere that day me and my pals were on the terraces. On the stand to our left Cardiff got a terrible spanking they ended up standing with their backs to the wall like a group of naughty schoolboys Edited February 19, 20197 yr by bluehaze

I was gonna ask if they are Chelsea or Cardiff, but the taches gave it away. Leeds used to like a tache too.

February 19, 20197 yr The footage from the 'away game at Goodison in March 1986. Sunday, 16th March 1986 at 14:35. 1-1. Murphy scoring for us in the 12th minute. 30,145 were at the game. Was this shown live on tv ? Honestly can't remember !
