Old Trafford and The Bridge.

The Old Trafford pic was our first goal during our first FA Cup Final (Replay) win over Leeds.

programme cover for Chelsea v Preston North End, Saturday, 11th Oct 1952 Saturday 11th October 1952 and a 5 - 3 win over Preston North End.   Watched by 51,426 spectators.

Our scorers were: Parsons 8 and 85, Campbell 53, McNichol 76 and Bentley 80 mins respectively.

Preston were joint top of Division 1 at the end of the season, losing the title only on goal difference to Arsenal, so our win that day was a very good one indeed.

They had the legendary Tom Finney in their side and also the future Chelsea player and manager Tommy Docherty.

We eventually finished 19th, just above the relegation zone !
