Number on Lukaku's shirt is higher than the goals he scored for us! Didn't Kerry have 194 goals against his name and one was removed?

Don’t remember Kerry having a goal taken off him.

Bounder Friardale has him down for 193

I was a regular when he was getting close to Tambling's then record and was hoping he would get it yet things were not falling for him on the pitch and we were recruiting other strikers so was not to be.

If he had converted all his penalties and not lost the job he would have around 250

The picture caption states we are playing.Brighton. Assume it’s their former Goldstone Ground.

Looks like that Cup game where Chopper got sent off. Gates smashed open before ko and hundreds of us just strolld in.

FA cup 5th round

Not sure when, wasn't sure it was us, but that's the old pensioner badge on that banner .

Probably been posted before, but like to know info on it

By the clothing worn, it looks like late 1940s to mid ish 1950s.

Is that looking out on the old forecourt in front of turnstiles?

Immediately after the First World War perhaps. Or the 1920s. Going by the clothing worn.

Will have a dig about later to try and find more information for this and the photo above

Thanks. I must be imaging things. I blame old age and too much beer and whisky.

Another picture from the game against Moscow Dynamo. Looks like Tommy Lawton near the goalie.

I wonder what opinions of the crowd were back then. 6 years and a world war made this a must see game. Those that chose to gain entry anyway possible including those on roofs of the stands. We’re they classed as hooligans?
