February 14, 20233 yr Not sure if this counts as vintage but a 14 year old John Terry signing forms with the club. I was at the game when this happened but for the life of me I can't remember who we played. Anyone remember?
February 14, 20233 yr Rare film of Arsenal v Chelsea at Highbury in 1917. The London Combination match was watched by 18,000 with Chelsea’s Harold Halse score the only goal. There’s very little footage of wartime matches being played during the First World War so this is pretty unique. © IWM NTB319-1 I usually post items this old on the Chelsea v West Brom 1905 Thread. Just thought this footage above was worth posting on this occasion on this thread. Hope nobody minds.
February 14, 20233 yr A couple of pictures from when Rangers played Chelsea at Ibrox on this date in 1986. Rangers won 3-2. Edit: I would have loved to have gone to the game but couldn't get time off work. Was at the Bridge in May the previous year. Edited February 14, 20233 yr by Boyne
February 14, 20233 yr Friday 14th Feb 1986 and we play a friendly just along the road from me v Glasgow Rangers. We go down 3-2 on a freezing cold night. The floodlights went off in part of the Stadium I’m sure from memory. Our scorers were Keith Jones and Nigel Spackman. A crowd of 17,512 watched it. My total respect then and now to all who traveled up for this match. Edited February 14, 20233 yr by erskblue

Rangers won the game in 2007 2-0 and Chelsea won the match in 2011 3-1. For both games I travelled in a Rangers Supporters bus and after each ended up in a Rangers supporting pub.
