September 17, 201411 yr Dying for this to come out. Procedurally generating worlds? Looks insane! Hopefully the gameplay will be interesting, as whilst exploring thousands of planets sounds interesting, in reality most of them will be very similar or very bare, due to the procedural system and hardware limitations, and I can't say just wandering around exploring for ages will keep me interested very long.
September 17, 201411 yr This looks interesting: http://www.gamespot.com/articles/unveiling-the-gameplay-of-no-mans-sky/1100-6420891/ I am also excited about this

It depends what sort of person you are, whether you're one of those people who love exploring in games, or one of those who like "social gaming" where you meet up with friends in MMOs and shoot up stuff together. If it's the latter then it probably aint for you. I'll just be happy to soar around the universe in my ship and watching the dinosaurs amble around.
September 17, 201411 yr It's very addictive. I just want to keep levelling up to unlock the new abilities. What level and class are you? Hit level 20 with my Titan last night, only played about 5 crucible matches because I'm so out of practice with PvP in general.
September 18, 201411 yr Chess, it's just some good old fashioned fun. No technology required, don't even need to spend money on it. And if you want to play on the internet you can with great sites like chess.com, chessfriends and FIDE
September 18, 201411 yr Pes 2015 demo delayed. Not if you have a PS4...just set up a Hong Kong account. Played it all last night, it's amazing. FIFA is in for a scare this year going by this.
September 18, 201411 yr Now Xboxone users can get PES before the UK demo launch. XboxOne owners rejoice your time has come ......(no need to make a separate account like sony) simply go to settings change Time zone to (UTC+8.00) Beijing, Hong Kong also change language and location to English/Hong Kong then reboot Xbox One - this will happen automatically. log in with your own profile again after reboot then go search for Winning eleven - there it is ..DOWNLOAD and enjoy. you might wanna put your settings back to UK once the download is complete
September 18, 201411 yr Sounds risky to me. What happens if you can't remember how to switch it back? Really looking forward to playing the demo. However it looks like this year will be the first time that you won't be able to download a patch for the kits etc as there's no USB. Bummer eh?
September 18, 201411 yr Played the PES demo and I must say, I do like it. Seems very different from Fifa. Only criticisms would be that it seems really easy to scorr. That said, I haven't played Pes for 2 years so probably abit rusty.
September 19, 201411 yr Some great news for FIFA fans. The final game is VASTLY superior to the demo. If you have EA access you can download the full verison. Game feels slower Inertia feels better Players feel heavier Shooting is much improved Crossing is different you need to be more accurate...i play on semi crossing Lots more animations Keepers are fixed, no more stupid errors Dribbling is better still (next year i think they'l have dribbling perfect) And overall is just plays different...Like it feels finished. Went back to the demo and the players felt like they were gliding on the pitch and the ball was more like a balloon.
September 19, 201411 yr Can anyone tell me what the difference is between the standard edition and the 'FIFA Ultimate Team' edition? £52 from Game is a bit steep in my opinion.
September 19, 201411 yr I'm glad of that RFC, the demo was pretty bad! I haven't owned FIFA since about 2011, and the demo felt like it had gone back before then. Wasn't impressed.

Yeah the dribbling and visuals were good in the demo but other than that it was poor. Happy to say the final game is night and day from the demo which was a really old code apparantly.
September 19, 201411 yr Really enjoying the PES demo atm which I was quite surprised at as it has been poor for many years now! Still sounds like you are kicking a potato and a few AI errors but much better than the FIFA demo.

I will try that Edited September 19, 201411 yr by mactheknife
September 19, 201411 yr Just played a bit of the PES demo and I am very convinced. I'll probably get both this year especially due the discrepancy in release dates. Anyone find the players outline a bit blurry in some scenes?

Basically you get like 40 packs for the game mode "Ultimate Team" If you don't play Ultimate Team (or even if you do), don't buy it Just get the standard edition

You on xbox1 or PS4, hearing the Xbox one is not looking as good visually as sonys. The one main gripe for me is the shooting is way too overpowered and accurate. The lack of animations too but I assume this will be addressed for the full game. Edited September 19, 201411 yr by RFC_CFC

I am still impressed, it plays more like football than the other game but is just not as slick. This is what I expected from PES 2014. Though I am convinced this is a good alternative product from FIFA. They also need to sort out slide tackling
September 19, 201411 yr Yeah slide tackling is way too heavy and fast. Shooting is too easy as well. The demos are normally a hell of alot better than the finished game - obviously. I think its a good indicator that so many people are liking the Pes. I like how its so difficult to do tricks, like in real life. Fifa is ridiculous for that. Konami were saying how they focused on playere trying to utilise space and make runs which will win you games - much like real football matches. Good news as well - Sony are bringing out out an update which will us to use our USB's so we can transfer kits.
September 20, 201411 yr Basically you get like 40 packs for the game mode "Ultimate Team" If you don't play Ultimate Team (or even if you do), don't buy it Just get the standard edition Thanks, I won't waste my time with that then.
