Wasteland 2 is out! :)

Yeah the dribbling and visuals were good in the demo but other than that it was poor.

Happy to say the final game is night and day from the demo which was a really old code apparantly.

See I found the main game quite poor. For me it went backwards from the demo. They seem to always turn their back on potential exciting gameplay features in the full code.

Got to say PES demo is ahead of the FIFA full game for me. First time I would say PES has been better since PES 6. It feels like a football simulator whilst FIFA is a football video game.

Well, i've reached level 20 on Destiny, completed the main story. Now it's just the case of gathering "Light" and joining a faction.

I must say I've really enjoyed it so far.

 

I am baffled as to why it has had such mixed reviews. The main story is weak but everything else is so so good. The shooting mechanics, the leveling up, the graphics, size of the planets, PVP, Strike Missions, the servers. I really don't see what people are complaining about.

Hmm I find the FIFA full game far better than the demo.

I'd actually say the PES demo plays like an old school arcade game with powerful shots from all angles and distances while FIFA plays like a football simulator.

I like both games but for me FIFA edges it because it has everything PES has plus the EPL fully licenced.

Undertow, have you got Wasteland 2? I fancy giving it a go but I`m worried it might tarnish the first game, which was bloody brilliant.

I played a strike mission last night to get the points/currency needed for legendary gear.

No exaggeration it took me and the random I was teamed with about 30 minutes to kill the end bosses, ridiculous amounts of health.

I tried Strike once when I was new and got obliterated within 30 seconds.

I might stand more of a chance now I'm a level 18 Warlock.

Gotta say though, I'm enjoying the game a lot more now. Yes the story is a bit off but the online Crucible is brilliant. I find myself mainly playing Control.

Strikes are damn good fun but some of the bosses do take an age to kill off, even if you're quite a high level and wielding a rocket launcher! That spider/tank thing on earth springs to mind, as does the Nexus spinning head thing.

 

Control is sh*t Hutts! I prefer Skirmish

Yes, I pre-purchased it a few months after the kickstarter campaign ended. I haven't had much time to play it yet but so far so good. Obviously in some aspects it's a step back to the 90's (interface, controls...) and it can be bloody hard and frustrating at points but the world, the characters in it, some events are really fun.

Get Endless Legend if you're a fan of 4X

Forza horizon 2 reviews up, can't wait for this game. Demo is outstanding. Anyone else getting it, apparently it's uses the same friends as ai drivers system as forza 5.

I played The Evil Within at EGX (had a good 10 minutes). What I played was really good.

 

It's like Resident Evil 1 in that you were fighting against a small number of 'zombies' with limited ammo in a creepy location but it has the control scheme of Resident Evil 4+ . It also looks to a lot more disturbing and gorier. If you like horror games it's looking to be a must buy.
