Any game recommendation?

I enjoyed it, but it is the kind of game you play once then move onto something else.

The gameplay wasn't that great but none of the Bioshock games really have great gameplay. I really enjoyed exploring the world though, and the story was pretty great although it gets a bit too complicated at the end.

Going to buy The Last of Us for PS4 on the way home from work tonight. Hope it lives up to the hype!

The first couple of hours are, for want of a better word, a "drag". But once it gets going it's pretty damn good.

I hope you'll be playing it on a decent size tv with 1080p resolution, it's a beautiful game!

I wish. Just a 37 inch in my bedroom at the minute. Doubt it will do it much justice!

That will more than suffice! Mine's a 32" in my bedroom, and it still looks a beaut!

We are still talking about screen sizes, right.....?

Does anyone play civ5?

I've played a couple of games...it's not going well

That said, I can't stop clicking next turn.

I've played all of them going back to Civ2. I don't have as much time these days for that sort of game, which is a shame as I used to lose entire evenings/nights building up my empire.

If you want a game which is quite cheap and fun to pick up and just have a play on next gen I'd recommend plants vs zombies garden warfare, easily the most fun I've had on next gen so far.

What's tedious about it?

It started off slowly but got better as it went along, but I just find I have no inclination whatsoever to play it anymore.

It's the same old schtick each time: sneak past Clickers/shiv one- find a ladder- pick up supplies- strangle a Runner- lather, rinse, repeat. It's a stunning looking game but it's rather dull. I'm about 8 hours in- I don't know how long the single player takes to complete- but I'm not sure it's going to get any better.

Fair enough, the story alone kept me gripped and I found the stealth aspect of the combat quite challenging.

Took me 18 hours on my play though which was on hard and I was listening to optional dialogue and reading through diaries etc that I found in game.

Playing Crysis 3 at the moment, fairly "meh" experience for me the nano suit thing just feels like cheating most of the time and takes away alot of the challenge of a FPS game.

The voice acting is woeful.

I stopped playing Last of Us too a couple of hours in. Too much hype for me I think. I'll probably revisit it in a month or so and try and make some more progress.

Glad I'm not the only one to think so! Way too much hype.

In other news, Empire have done the "100 Greatest Video Games of All Time" vote. Guess what is number one....

I've never played The Last Of Us but good to see Halo there. For me personally, the original Halo is the best game I've ever played.

The level where you meet The Flood for the first time. Jesus, that still gives me the creeps.

Anyone know a website where you can play Monopoly against other people? I can only find player vs computer ones, which isn;'t anywhere near as fun,.
