I still don't know why we havn't properly been in for Sanchez. He's exactly the player we need and cheaper than Neymar and also plays on the right where we are weaker offensively

This apparently prompted Man City to renew their hope/interest in signing the player, but Sanchez doesn't want to go to City. According to the Mirror, he was actually given clearance to talk to City but refused to get on the plane to Manchester:

Can't say as I blame him, to be honest.

I think I'd have to say Modric or someone like him. We could do with a better RB and a couple of wingers, but we've managed without that for quite a while so we can probably win without them next season as well.

But as for a creative midfielder, we haven't really done well without one. Lampard, Essien and Mikel/Ramires is a good midfield, but they lack things our strikers need.

Not too bothered about Sanchez tbh. I think the massive hype is over the top. A good talent no doubt, I personally think Neymar has a lot more potential and he seems to have his heart set on Barcelona.
