Just think about it, most of us on here are NEVER happy (including myself) but im big enough to critise myself about it

all we seem to do is moan, torres, the manager, kalou, malouda, lampard, ferreira, hilario, bosingwa, anelka, emanalo, the board, our transfers

were gettin mata brilliant oh hang on we havent done it quick enough the clubs run sh*t

just thinkin about AVB'S comments on fans and hes completely right, we must have the most critical supporters in the league

you dont think the players know what gets said about them? its like were brainwashed by the media

there only seems a few on here that actually constantly stand up for this team and ill name the names DKW, Hutch and Gem and Loz

i think them players know there constantly bein slated and are scared stiff of makin a mistake because of the sh*t they got from THERE OWN fans!!

its fairly shockin to be honest, i work with a city fan and i ask him questions about the players i think are there worst, SWP as a perfect example

and he doesnt have a bad word to say about ANY one of them.. not just bummin aguero and silva he loves every player at the club !

if your fans dont support you and the media constantly write you off year after year and ur fans appear to believe it dont you think it affects them

when millions of people worldwide critise you it affects confidence, whether your on £100,000 a week or not.

there only seems a few on here that actually constantly stand up for this team and ill name the names DKW, Hutch and Gem and Loz

I think you'll see there is a quite a bit more to add to that list.

Just saying.

I hate stream of consciousness posts, and that is a prime example.  Keep it short and pithy, please.

ok mate please feeel freee to slag the team and board and management off and moan about it when the team doesnt perform :)

The players know themselves when they have a bad game, if someone on here says they've had a bad game, they'll be shown the tape , it's not like that by censoring ourselves we're insulating the players.

I wouldn't be hypercritical of any of the players, but if a fan wants to express their opinion on the state of the club whether it be positive or negative it should be allowed, what would be the point of the forum if we were to censor ourselves?

The good thing about football is everyone always has different opinions on it, if people didn't criticise then there'd be no room for discussions, and this site would be boring.

hang on im not for one minute saying u cant disagree with anythin that happens

but this site disagrees with 99.9% of what does happen, and it seems excessive to say the least, everyone is gonna criticise players after a bad game

but the sameeee get kalou and malouda and anelka and drogba out bla bla bla every week is just f**kin borin now

there our players like it or not and at the min were stuck with them givin them constant sh*t is just gonna make things worse

how would you feel if your wife and kids read people you work with sayin your f**kin sh*t at your job they wish youd f**k off, some IDIOT before posted mikel shud break his neck? WTF??!! come on now

You are getting better, a bit shorter, but your spelling is really bad. I mean, really bad. "shud"? "borin"?

I have no problem with other posters who are critical, even Saladin makes a lot of sense from time to time.

Forums are there for everyone to give their thoughts, and especially to vent. So, in that vein, don't sweat it.

I said people have a right to say what they want within limits, that's what a discussion forum is for... I never said I agreed with anyone's sentiments about any player, I have my own unique opinions as do we all... I certainly think that was out of order and I don't think anyone will defend that remark.

Why would anyone pretend to think more highly of players for the sake of delusion, that's what Liverpool supporters do and it's delusional. We've got world class players, very talented players and some squad players and that's the same at most of the top clubs.

You're saying your fed up of hearing the same criticisms of the same players, I'd make the point that there is no smoke without fire and that people who get paid far more than doctors, teachers, nurses, soldiers , policemen and policewomen couldn't give a rats arse what a bunch of people on an internet forum. If you were a multimillionaire would you honestly care what some measly little twerp sitting behind a keyboard had to say about you?

Not if i was just sat in a big mansion counting my money and didnt have to get abused by thousands of people next saturday, but how do you think Salomon Kalou feels now??

do you think hes looking forward to his next appearance for chelsea at stamford bridge?

he isnt a great player, he isnt a world class player, but hes one of the most hardworking players in our squad, very loyal to chelsea and seems a really genuinely nice guy, so why should he constantly be slated for givin his all for his employers and there fans ? whether his best is good enough or not how can u ask any more than someones best, do you think he wants to play badly and miss sitters and fall over?

id love to see how kalou would do somewhere like newcastle where the pressure were a lot less intense..

i knew people would start the " its a forum we can discuss if we want" i never said people couldnt but all you do is MOAN MOAN MOAN MOAN MOAN

and its painful.. you think you know better than the board and the manager, but how many of us would be given a job workin for a board? let alone one of the top football teams in the world.

what bollox...so we're supposed to be all cheery all the time even when the team is playing sh*te and the players aren't performing? as fans we have more right to be critical than the press, we actually give a sh*t...i'm all for being positive and I have my moments where I'm more upbeat than some, however, I make no apologies for saying what i think if it's the negative...I'm delighted mata has been signed, but he should have been bought a month ago...who knows, his presence at stoke could have got us three rather than one point...

by the way, those that jeer and boo at the games are far more worthy of criticism than people who want to express their opinion on a fans' site, which no player in their right mind will bother reading...they can't help but notice getting stick at games and that is something i have never done

I doubt you even know what the word forum means to be honest mate. Honestly if you think that a millionaire footballer is sitting on his laptop crying his eyes out about what a bunch of no talents like us are saying about him, I think you need to seriously take a step back.

If that's the case he should take a lesson in life off JT or Rooney, drive fast cars and shag the fittest birds, he'd want a lesson in perspective. But of course the only one who is completely out of sync about what the purpose of a discussion forum is and how much an unofficial site actually matters to any players ego is you.

You've just had a moan about a forum of people who love the club, support the club, we pay for tickets and jerseys, we cheer on the team, and we say it like it is. If you want a censored forum tough sh*te, and if you want us to stop saying what we think you might as well go. I'm rarely overly critical of the players anyway , but pretending that players perform to their abilities 100pct of the time helps nobody.

If you choose to ignore common sense, here is a censored post for you to read! We're gonna win every match 7-0 and Barca are going to capitulate in CL final against us and leak 9 goals, and Messi will switch teams at half-time! You better believe it.

This is one of the most nothing threads i have read on this site. Yes people complain about a number of things at the club but by no means are we the most critical fans in the league. There is constantly a lot of optimisim and far more than 4 people sticking up for players on the site. This season so far there has been a lot of talk about where Chelsea will finish in the league and a lot of people are predicting that we wont finish first (myself included, this was as signings stood back there) but that is by no means slagging the team off its voicing an opinion.

99.9 percent negative?? please. Go read the mata thread and you will see the most overwhelmingly positive comments i have seen. Yes there are ppl on here at the moment complaining that they think lamps might be on the decline, but at the same time these are people that still absolutely worship the man.

I really didnt want to add to this thread but the sheer ridiculousness of it meant i just had to...

Their are definitely people on here whose glass is half empty, and plenty half full, its what makes this so interesting, peoples differing views,as long as it doesn't get to personal, alls fair in "love n War" so they say..

Their are definitely people on here whose glass is half empty, and plenty half full...

And I'd say that there are some whose glass is completely empty... :happy001:

I have previously been slated on here for being overly critical (which funnily enough i dont agree with as i feel I usually try to highlight the positives and the negatives) , however surely that is the whole point of a forum. To give fans a chance to discuss, analyse, vent their frustration, give praise etc.

I get the feeling that many on here think too highly of themselves and their views and cant stand it when someone has a different opinion or viewpoint to their own. We are quick to slag of each other rather than discuss the differences. At the end of the day, If any of us knew what we were talking about then we wouldnt be sat on here whinging to each other.

Regarding us being overly critical, in another post i used the analogy that if you were a customer at Tescos and the Cashier regularly short changed you i am sure that 99.9% of people would complain about it to the management. It is normal in everyday employment that if you do a bad job someone will make a complaint and the person who did the bad job will be held accountable. As customers of Chelsea (which is how our club view us) we have every right to make a complaint if the product that we are buying is sub standard.

The good thing about football is everyone always has different opinions on it, if people didn't criticise then there'd be no room for discussions, and this site would be boring.

Exactly. If it was just everyone agreeing and applauding for everything this would turn into a pretty senseless place to write to...or a l*verpool forum.

from a made-up scum forum:

Gerrad4: Aren't stevie the bestest player in the hole wide world!!!

Stevie4: He is the bestest for sure!!!

Stevoforlife4: Steven is the bestest you know tat!!!

4steven: Gerrad, Gerrad Gerrad oliolioliooo!!

4Gerry: to 4steven. His name is actually speld Gerrard. Just like the tattoo I made for my granny. Sad she is blind... Go STEVOOO!!!

I blame you all for JT missing that penalty. If he hadn't been reading this forum a day before the game, he'd be taking some practice penalty shots and would have known in advance that the spot was a bit slippery.

And I'd say that there are some whose glass is completely empty... :happy001:

Mine is sometimes, but I keep the bottle at my elbow for speed of refill.

Strange though how for some people it's the moaning posts that they remember. I'm sure there are as many euphoric posts as whinging ones. And, to be fair, even the moaning ones usually offer constructive (ish) advice. If only managers read the Shed End!

And pleeeeease could someone in power change the subtitle of this thread to "Have any of us taken..."

Edited by moi

Embaressing... You do realise that this is a FORUM right?

Since when does beeing a Chelsea fan mean liking/understanding every decision that the management takes?

Edited by german-blue

If you dont like what you read here, you dont have to keep reading here.

However, you will find the same moaning and groaning on every single football fan site of this size.
