That's quite likely, the other options would be to play Rafinha on the right and Lahm on the left, and van Buyten in the centre instead of Timoschchuk. I think that the line that you mention will be the one that plays though.

Sorry I wasn't trying to slate Bayern, I think you guys have pretty great firepower and have more capable goalscorers than Barca, I just remember thinking at some point that Barca would be pretty decent on the counter (particularly when they had Eto'o and Henry)

Out of interest, what is the general message coming from most Bayern fans on your forums? I presume overall it's more positive than here? ie. you have more people coming out and saying you'll definitely win than we do etc.?

I don't use Bayern forums much as I'm in contact with plenty of them in other ways personally and via the web but yes I think it's fair to say that confidence is high.

Having said that most Bayern fans have a healthy respect for Chelsea annd know that we will have to play well to beat them.

I would imagine that the idiots on the English speaking Bayern forums such as Bayernzone are expecting a formality but they are a bunch of idiots and not our real support (when we played City I spent some time on "Bluemoon", the City forum and a few of these embarrassing idiots turned up from Bayernzone as well as a few of our proper fans. You seem to have been spared this and I'm the only one here so I presume they must be on another Chelsea fforum winding everyone up).

I go on places like this http://www.bfc75kleinostheim.de/ it's one of the oldest Bayern supporters clubs and they hhave their own forum. I've know the club President and many of the older members since 1985 and still meet up with them at games, though most of us have less hair now than back then !

I was at the second leg which is the last game we played against them, it was in their old stadium, the Olympic stadium, Jose was banned from the bench (think he said something post match after the first leg), and had to sit in the stand.
