Apparently we are about to sign this 15 year old from Belgium who is a very highly regarded prospect. His coach right now called him a mixture between Xavi and Iniesta, haha. No mention of price, but another youth Belgium prospect, who Man City just signed I believe, either tweeted or wrote on Facebook congrats to Musonda for getting picked up by us.

He certainly looks a cut above in those videos, but how that translates is always impossible to tell. I'm going to have to learn French and brush up on my Dutch at this rate, though.

From all the things I saw on televison,this must be a really special talent.

He was a few times on TV and what different youth scouts said,was that he can be belgium's best player we ever had.

But he is very young,so long way to go...

It makes or breaks a lot of players nowadays in my opinion, if they are mentally weak then it can destroy even the most talented of youngsters.

I do hate it when people say someone is the "next messi" or "next xavi" or "next whoever". Why can't players ever just be allowed to become themselves? Rather than an imitation of someone else in people's (read: media) eyes .

Apparently its because of the Dad wanted all of them or none and the youngest is the best prospect. Thats what I have read.

supposedly Belgium believes this kid will be the best Belgian player in history, quite a bit of pressure for a 15 year old. I wonder where we'll stash him/when we'll call him up.

Didn't we do basically this, like 4 or 5 years ago? I vaguely recall we signed several brothers all at once, and then never heard anything about any of them ever again.

If he does mean them then its no surprise we havent heard anything about them as they were only 12/13 years old.

Whatever they're putting in the water in Belgium at the moment we could do with some of that over here.

I'm always a little uncomfortable when I hear about us signing kids that young from other parts of the country/Europe though. At least if we're taking on all three brothers it allows the family to stay together.

Charley Musonda Jr is the real deal , this is probably one of the best youngsters around the world. With him his two brothers will sign for Chelsea too (both are good players but less the Jr)
