June 28, 201213 yr He actually rates us very much but Arsenal is a foreign home for French so it is very understandable. I really don't take this a snub. Anyway he'd have a hard time getting games here as he is a pure striker. This is a no-news for me.

I'd go as far as saying even Danny would have been in front of him. He looks like a promising player and Arsenal is way better choice for him. He'd be sitting in the bench most of season.

If I was a player of above average quality I would sign for the gunners over us as he will get twice the game time there that he would here. I mean hazard doesn't expect to start so giroud would have no chance of walking straight into the team.

June 29, 201213 yr To be fair, he didnt bad mouth us in any way. Assuming Lukaku goes on loan next season, Giroud would have been a useful back up option from the bench as he is a much more physical player than Torres or Danny
