City are strangely quiet ...

Instead of blowing all their money on these youngsters with silly names, they're investing in advanced cloning techniques in order to field this side next season:

------------------------------Hart

Richards-------Kompany-------Kompany------Clicharov

------------------Toure-----------Toure

------Silva----------------Silva------------Silva

--------------------------Aguevez

No need for them for spend big anymore. All they need is an average backup for CB and DM and they are set, could even have their youngsters fill that role if any fit the bill.

Plus they generally do their business towards the end of the season.

Adebayor has already gone to Spurs, which is good signing for them, unfortunately :(

He hasnt actually joined them yet, Just a fee been agreed, Heard he wants City to pay 60k towards his Spurs wages.

There you go. From SkySports:

"We are a young team because we have played together for only two years," Mancini told Sky Sports News HD.

"We won after 50 years. We need to work harder than last year and we need to buy the players that will help the team to improve.

"We don't need big changes. We don't need 10 players like maybe two or three years ago.

"But we need three or four or five players and in these five players will be young guys for the future because it is important to put young players in the squad and make them as good as the players that we have."

They don't need 10 anymore but only 5. Isn't that just brilliant?

Brilliant, just as our squad looks like it could rival theirs, they go and get 5 more players! Crack out the cheque book Roman and get me Neymar, Lucas, Hulk and Messi. That'll show those blue moon bar stewards.

Kompany for a further 6 years is probably the best signing they could make anyway...! Bar Messi/Ronaldo. I agree that's it's the calm before the storm, we're currently mid-storm.

If we must talk about MAN CITY i think that with the possible aquisition of VAN PERSIE (who i wish we had), they have an awesome squad and they can afford to be "quiet"..They proved it last year and should be confident again..
