chealsea fans are an embarrasment to there team

Featured Replies

i was at villa park to watch my team (manchester city) and was shocked by how non existant the chelsea fans were, the only time i heard a peep from the chelsea fans was when you scored, i would of been embarrased if it was the other way round. p.s dont ban me for telling the truth thanks.

Was it louder when you supported Man Utd during their glory days? What about at Arsenal when you were a fan during the invincible year? Tell us how loud the Blackburn fans were when Shearer used to bang them in when they won the league?

What on earth do you think we're going to respond with? Oh, you're right old chap. All hail Man City! Frankly opposition fans coming on here and being aggressive is utterly pointless.

and i expect you to come back at me with come backs about football not my dreadfull spelling!

One year of success and all of a sudden the Man City fans are giving it the big I am....or we are to be more accurate. I am pretty sure that after years of consistant success the Utd fans will still be more than able to say a fair few things about City winning a league title.

It's a shame really, I actually wanted them to win the title last year over Utd, as i thought the fans were sound....obviously i was wrong.

He may be a wum. But he does have a point, the amount of empty seats in our end was poor. But I think the reason many didn't go was because many fans that would normally go to the community shield will be going to UEFA Super Cup and we will also have fans going to FIFA Club World Cup. Also this is City's first win in it for 40 years so it actually meant something to them. Personally I wasn't bothered because it's a friendly and it wasn't even at Wembley

We don't ban people for telling truths here, but when you go around saying that Chelsea fans are an embarrasment to the team, you are well out of order. Chelsea have millions of supporters and only a very small percentage of them was at the game, so don't judge everyone based on them.

you still chatting??? stand up turn around and watch a bum in front of you rather than your team.....oh 1 more thing jog on.

And one of the main reasons there were empty seats is the trains were cancelled to brum and coaches put on and a lot of fans couldn't get to the match including scooby blue!

Sorry, but swearing and coming here criticising our support in your first few posts is fairly aggressive in my book...OK then I'll humour you. We didn't sell our allocation, you may have been louder, I don't know as I couldn't watch.

Comebacks about football? When we've lost to the Champions...not very easy I'm afraid. No offence but your spelling and punctuation makes it hard to read, so is the obvious comeback sadly...

No - your not trying to be agressive at all are you...I guess it is pleasant acceptable behaviour to tell people they or their family are embarresments up your way is it?...or are you another one of those real manchester fans living down south?

For what it is worth, the travelling Chelsea fans are usually immense and regularly outsing home support..i for one often come on here praising the lads. You may or may not be correct that we were out sung yesterday, i wasnt at the game so cannot say for sure, however if it is true, then it is the exception rather than the rule.

Ah, being chastised by the Nouveau riche.

Give it a decade or so my good man, whilst in the process garnering multiple EPL Titles, multitudinous Cup wins and the European Champions League. Then your passionate fans will view the Charity Shield for what it is.......................... a pretty meaningless pre-season friendly.

Incidentally isn't new found success wonderful ? At least we were banging on the door pre-Abramovich with FA and League Cup wins, plus close on the title a couple of times. Whereas, pre- Sheikh Moneybags, your boys were seasonal mid-table / relegation fodder accompanied by lots of empty blue seats. No suprise then that the Charity Shield is deemed a big occaision by your support.

Not really true that though is it. They are still head and shoulders ahead of City in terms of bragging rights (and well ahead of us as well for that matter). One title on the last day of the season, whilst great, is not sufficient to start claiming Utd have nothing they can go on about anymore. If we had started making claims like that after our second title, and first of the 'modern' era we would rightly been told to get a little perspective.

Like it or not (and that goes for both City and Chelsea fans) United are still the benchmark of English football and it is a status they have earned.
