Not sure were to put this to get a response but I guess here is as good a place as any.

Feel free to move if its not in the right subforum

I have a question regarding tickets for the FA cup semifinal. I have tickets for Chelsea-Spurs along with my dad. We are travelling from abroad and its not that easy getting tickets and time off from work for the both of us, needless to say this is something we have both been looking forward to for a long time. Heres the kicker, if we beat Utd that game is moved and Im guessing the Fa Cup semi is played on that Sunday. What are the chances of getting tickets to Wembley for the game? Bear in mind I dont have a membership.

Thanks in advance

I would have thought you would need a membership for an FA semi at Wembley V City but wouldn't you have needed one for your spurs tickets?

Nope. Got them of a local booking agent that included hotel...

If we get through will probably be more semi final tickets available than spurs tickets. Maybe you can find someone to swap with but it's all a bit dodgy when you include ticket agents and people you don't know.

clubs normally get 50 50 split at Wembley, unlike the final where a quarter go to corporates or freebies - so not so hard to get hold of but they won't be on general sale

^ Agree with the above. If recent years are anything to go by semi final tickets for Wembley are hardly 'gold dust' and a basic membership with no loyalty points would probably be enough to get tickets but I don't think they put them on general sale- I'm not even sure if they are allowed to as then you could have opposition fans buying them in theory.

Depends how keen you are and how much money you have to play with but you could buy 2 memberships (around £25/each I think) and then that should be enough to ensure tickets for the semi, assuming we get through of course....

I have a cancellation insurance so Ill get the money back from the Spurs game. But money isnt a huge issue for me. Will be looking into a membership to see if I can get some through CFC.

Thanks

getting a little ahead of ourselves here, aren't we?

Doesn't hurt to be organised.

After all we're favorites now.

Clattenburg isn't the ref....

Hmmm, weird... I'm sure I heard it somewhere that he'd be the ref. Oh well, I suppose it's good news that he's not.

A ref hasn't been announced on the FA website yet- there are massive rumours doing the rounds on twitter and all that bollocks but I don't believe for a second Clattenburg will ref this game- would be a fairly ridiculous appoitment under the circumstances....

Part of me just really wants it to be true, no way he would f**k us over twice and him officiating the game would make the entire atmopshere of the ground extremely hostile (but not to our own manager/team for once).

Would probably give us the advantage if anything.

Yeah that is quite true- and one of the reasons that he won't be given this game. It would be like red rag to a bull for the Chelsea fans!

I said in a previous thread I don't think he will ref another game for us this season but his first one sure as hell won't be against United.

Agreed, it would be a ridiculously poor choice of a ref for this game.

Can't see it.

He should never ref any of outpe games again.. Not just because he's racist, not because he gave one if the worst performances of all time in our last game with him in charge but because he's consistently awful and shouldn't be in charge of any games whatsoever.

I don't think it's fair to call him racist. Haven't you learnt anything about labelling people as racists? Talk about double standards.

He won't be ref.
