I reckon he's on his last chance.

He's still only just outside of the top 4.

 

Newcastle and Everton are ahead of them right now but do they have the staying power to last?

 

Pardew was looking odds on for the sack a few weeks back and now look at them, sometime patience pays off with sticking by your manager and I think Spurs need to do the same.

 

AVBs problem is that he can't do damage limitation and he has a habit of letting his sides lose with hefty loses which just increases pressure on himself. 

 

His main problem seems to be that despite buying £70m plus worth of attacking players, his team are struggling to score goals so as soon as they go a goal down, you don't know where a win is going to come from. 

He insists on playing the high line but to no avail. When your team cant even score with it, you know you are in trouble.

He is simply not a good manager.

As stupid as it sounds, if he were to ever get the chance to manage a team like Barcalona he would be a success because his gung ho attacking, high line would just pummel everyone in Spain.

 

The problem for him is that unlike in Spain, no one rolls over for you in the Premier League and there are more teams that are of a similar quality than when he was at Porto where most weeks he just had to send his team out to smash the granny out of the opposition. 

They've lost two more games than the leaders, they are struggling to score because their new striker hasn't got himself used to the premier league and their best striker doesn't fit the system AVB wants them to play, barring the two disasters to two good teams having good days and no shortage of luck they would have let in the least goals.

 

I don't know if Tottenham are as knee jerk as us but they are sitting equal 6th and there are eight very capable teams this season, he should be given the chance to see if they can bounce back for the second time.

 

The players he brought in will improve its just unlucky for him that Soldado looks like he might take the longest to do so.

You've got to hand (arm?) it to Suarez, he may not ever win much silverware at Liverpool but he can always add AVB's sacking to his list of achievements.
