Must have been joking.

(Shaw) for two reasons:

1. We are being linked with other left backs which is usually a sign we are talking to agents to strengthen our hand with Southampton at the negotiation table and

2. We loaned out Bertrand and usually we don't sell/loan someone out unless we plan a replacement

No offence to the original poster but did anyone actually see this report or is it a Twitter type rumour?

I saw it on twitter but other people commented and agreed that they saw it too.He wasn't joking
