Count how many players bayern have behind the ball when barca have it...consistently nine of the 10...if that isn't Jose's tactics I don't know what is

Edited by The Brit

Played three at the back, went man for man on Suarez, Neymar and Messi and his team should have been two or three down, but for bad final pass, good save or lucky deflection

Jesus, missed most of the first half

This is a great game

Do wonder sometimes how long it will take us to get to this level. Jose's problem in semis is that he seems to rely on not losing rather than trying to win the games. The top teams at this level always seem to have an answer to those tactics though.

Fantastic match though.

Barring first 15 when pep was an idiot, Bayern haven't played it much differently to Jose...men behind the ball, hit on the counter...biggest difference is Bayern have kept more of the ball, but most of that has been away from barca's area

They're pressing far higher up the pitch than Jose would, leaving a lot of space behind the defence and they are working their bollocks off.

And that's against the team who destroyed the team who knocked us out....with arguably their best player out. Jose would never try this.

You must be watching a different game to me. Bayern have had 51% of possession. That's hardly Jose who, let's face it, would have conceded 75% in a game like this.

To be fair bayern are missing 3 key players in robben, ribery and alaba. It is like taking hazard, willian and fabregas out of our team. Of course bayern will be less effective, but fair play to pep at least he's actually tried to make a game of it.

Already edited my post to refer to possession when you replied....but like I said most of possession has been unthreatening...different way to kill time and the game...not exactly great entertainment though

I'm really enjoying it.
