I did and thank you for asking.people saying it was a mourhino master class,I disagree(no surprises there)it was an Eden hazard master class.I ask every Chelsea fan here.if hazard was not playing for us,would we be where we are now? .IMO no.he is a shining light in a confused and one dimensional team.

 

That's bizarre logic. The fact is that Hazard WAS playing and Mourinho utilised the players at his disposal to engineer a result. That's the job of a manager isn't it?

 

Fact is we were missing our two main strikers which fundamentally altered the way we could play, yet Jose reacted and still managed to get the win. The only way you could say we are one dimensional is if you don't watch our matches because this tactic was atypical of the way we've set up for much of the season. 

 

The last thing I'd call it was confused. Every single player was on the same page, pulling in the same direction so how you can say it is confused I'm not sure. 

 

The great thing about our support is that there's always a diversity of opinion, on almost everything. But I simply don't recognise many of the things you're saying from anywhere else in our support. It's bizarre.

Our midfield a problem? Ok then, it's such a problem that were top of the league ten points clear of our nearest rival and we also have the league cup to boot. Areas are always going to need strengthening.

You don't think Mourinho rates Willians defensive abilities? Yet he plays him in an area where he has to do more defending. Do you even watch the team play?

You must be watching a different team if you think Mourinho doesn't rate Willian's defensive abilities. Willian's defensive abilities is probably the reason why he is in the first team so often.

eden vs newcastle at home last season was a masterclass also.

Best individual performance from a Chelsea player in the last 5 years I've seen was Eden away at Sunderland last year. Everything he did that day was just unreal.

I love Mata but I think for the memory of all the good times he simply had to go. We currently have a team that trains to play without the ball, resulting in relying on moments of brilliance to win the game. This makes us play defensively against the best teams, and devoid of attacking chemistry against the worst teams. Like most of our AM, I think Mata would be absolutely ragged by now and devoid of energy. He'd be lambasted worse than Oscar and Willian for being anonymous. This Chelsea side and Jose are just not meant for Mata, so I'm glad I can remember his 2 great years instead of having to choose between Jose and him.

 

Think about Cesc's second half of this season, then decrease that level by about 30%, and imagine 2 years of it. That's probably what we were faced with. That or not hire Jose.
