Liverpool fans forcing their way in as usual

So there was a problem with the turnstyles on Tuesday apparently, and the dippers decided they were going in anyway. but it was all our fault, oh and Jose masterminded it etc....

They bunk in every single year, the reason they were highly policed was due to their actions in the last several home games the morons.

They actually have a point from what I heard .

Had 3 Liverpool mates from work who went and basically the old bill and Chelsea stewards where well over the top  . They got to the ground 40 mins before kick off and only got iin 10 mins after the game had started . Only 2 of 5 turnstiles were working which caused massive problems .

Think the club messed up on this one big time

I was also shocked at how many scouse touts were outside FB ??

As I said tbb, its because of their actions in previous games they were policed heavily though.

Getting into the ground can be  nightmare, the Matthew Harding can take 20 minutes if u turn up 10 minutes before kick off.

It can be frustrating but you would think Liverpool of all fans would understand that storming past security to get into the ground without tickets being checked is not a good idea.

Funny  have seen very little in the media about the objects thrown from the away end. I wonder what caused the poor little lambs to do that..... i'll bet that was someone elses fault as well.

Funnily enough, some Liverpool fans did decide to blame us for objects being thrown, just as they tried to blame clubs like Chelsea for the Heysel distaster, just like they sang about Munich and blamed it on United, because ‘they started it’. I don't recall Chelsea fans singing about people being tragically killed, but yes we are a ‘scum club, with scum fans’ etc etc...to be honest if some of their fans did get some rough treatment, why are we supposed to feel sorry for them? Or feel bad about it? Who cares, they call us scum and rent boys all day, they don't deserve any respect.

I brought a ticket for our 2010 final V Pompey from a tout in Wembley Way, and he was a Scouser!. I was the one who got a result, because it was 3.10 pm and i paid 80 quid for a 95 quid one!. And it was genuine!

Not that i'm sticking up for the scousers, but Spurs fans also had loads of grief getting in to the away end at ours this season, they didnt get in until 20mins in to the 1st half with no apparent reason for it either, police & stewards just held loads back & were only letting a few through at a time.

The problem now is is the new ticket scan turnstiles, so many people turn up & put it in upside down or whatever which takes time once the steward gets involved, at least with an old boy on the turnstile you could get straight in.

The exact same happened to us last season in the league cup when we took 9000 to arsenal. I never got in untill about 15/20 minutes after kick off along with hundreds of other blues. The stewards were checking each fan singularly, But that was the last I heard of it! But these bitter mongrels have to be offended by everything. Its only football, and hate shouldnt be used, but Im close to actually hating this mob!

I appreciate most are decent fans who simply want to get in, have a drink and watch the game... but you would have thought with their History they'd be a bit more mindful about pushing through turnstyles. I don't blame the high security due to the circumstances but perhaps it should have been announced so fans got there with plenty of time knowing they'd be checked.

I remember this. Stupid stewards and police even blocked the turnstiles and ended up letting NO ONE in for a good 10 minutes. Why? I don't know.

It was bloody hilarious when Chelsea fans lost patience and barged them out the way. The fear on one coppers eyes was priceless.

Strength in numbers.

what's really ammusing about that article is that they claim outside where stewards and police were trying to get people into the areas they wanted them in, the stewarding was heavy handed and aggresive.  Yet inside where people dippers were standing around in concourses and gangways and the stewards didn't force them to move, the stewarding was shambolic.  Make your minds up you bloody idiots do you want stewards to move you into the right areas or leave you to sort yourselves out - and we've all seen how that ends up???

On the Arsenal game last year.  We were in a pub before the game and decided that because there were so many Chelsea going we should get to the ground early and have a drink in the concourse - no problems getting in, the atmsophere inside was excellent and we took the piss.

If you're an away fan in a cup tie you must realise that the home club isn't really set up for that many away fans and as a result it's going to take longer than normal to get into the ground.

In addition to that and based on previous years (proven by the number of objects thrown onto the pitch) security around that bunch of scum needs to be very tight, I'd suggest the stewards didn't search and confiscate enough from them.
