QPR vs Chelsea (PL) 12/04/2015 KO: 13:30 GMT

Featured Replies

Watched a replay of the game earlier today. What a sh*t little team and what sh*tty, small-time fans. I feel for the lads, I felt dirty after so much abuse and I was just watching on my laptop.

The game itself was nothing special and from our point of view, this is some of the worst we've played all season. We scored with the only good chance we created and I lost cound of our myriad misplaced passes. Glad it's over and I can't wait to see the back of QPR in a month's time.

Drogba is finished as a striker, even though he has his uses defending set pieces. Did nothing in attack all game and, I'm sorry to say this, he shouldn't be in the squad past May. Thibaut with a game-defining save yet again, I love a goalkeeper who makes a difference. Oscar looked better than he's looked for months.

Think you will find he is having a go at Branna not Oscar, as you can see from Oscar reaction he is not looking at ape man but looking into the field of play.

Oscar took two corners in a row when they were screaming at him and chanting "w**ker".

QPR fans behaviour, I won't get on my high horse about the thrown objects after the goal in the heat of the moment, whilst unacceptable  I more found the 'getting in our players faces' at every opportunity more cringeworthy. You look at the state of some of their fans who were 'giving it' and it just smacks of 'try hards' who should just belt up and behave themselves. A prime example was the fool who jumped over the barrier during our players goal celebrations like the big man and then stopped when he got to the white line of the pitch as if there was some electric fence stopping him from carrying on. Then after stopping in time for a steward to grip him up he did the whole 'let me get at him' routine. What was the point in that? had he wanted to get to our players and have a go at sticking one on Ivanovic there was nothing stopping him, I wonder why he stopped himself? I think we all know the answer. Proper melts.

Just waking up here in the Left Coast of the US, but I read that the FA is investigating the matter of their unruly fans. I hope that qpha get some kind of penalty, but I am sure it will only be a slap on the wrist.

I've seldom felt so happy after a win.

Massive win for us and massive loss for them.

It sends us nearer the title and sends them nearer the Championship.

Tiny pitch, ball bobbling all over the shop, and windy to boot.

We have played the same team all season and we are knackered. I was expecting the worst.

Special mentions for four players ..

First, the keeper. Made a couple of great saves and commanded his box well.

Secondly, the captain. He doesn't deserve the abuse but the way he performs in the face of it, outstanding. Best player on the park yesterday, predictably.

Thirdly, Ivan. The way he dealt with the QPR fans showed just why Jose loves him. First of all, he's tough, and second of all, he's one of us. I absolutely love him.

Fourthly, Cesc. Sh*t performance but who cares? It was all about the celebration. Off with the mask, blow of the cheeks, a little gallop in front of their fans, and kissed the shirt. Priceless.

Lastly, the QPR fans who taunted and abused our players all game, "needlessly aggressive" as the MOTD commentator said. Well, we scored at your end in the dying minutes and you couldn't take your medicine so you had to throw your toys out of the pram, in the form of cigarette lighters and wotnot.

Edit: As I say, I've seldom been so happy with a win.

His little jog come gallop come prance in front of their fans was priceless, he loved it.

That little jog from Fabregas was delicious.

No word of a lie I have seen a QPR fan on twitter, a grown man, claim that Fabregas should be banned for inciting crowd trouble. He wasn't joking either.

QPR are the gift hat keep on giving at the moment.

You can't beat a good gift hat mate...

But yeah, they are idiots. Blaming a player celebrating as an excuse for being pelted with coins and lighters takes some beating

:laugh2:

You know watching it back I think Fabregas was gonna take his shirt off then remembered he can't. If you watch he lifts it up and then drops it and lifts the mask up instead. Thank god he didn't do that lol

Ah, poor diddums. I wonder if he was one of those who was screaming abuse about JT's family, amongst other things, for the entire match. If he wasn't then he was in the minority. Those self same fans are now crying because the players gave some back. If you want to dish out the abuse (from the safety of a big group), then grow a pair and learn to take it.

I'll raise you one.

I looked at a QPR forum, and amongst the bile directed at us, there's one bloke saying we deliberately chose to attack their end in the second half, having won the toss, knowing we'd score late on and incite a riot.

That's right folks, it's all Terry's fault.

So have the FA fined QPR for throwing objects at our players yet? What is happening?

I remember when they fined Chelsea £30,000 in 04/05 for a similar incident at Stamford Bridge in a game against West Ham. The only difference was that the object (a coin) was thrown from the West Ham end and it hit our player (Kezman). Yes, the FA fined Chelsea for that!?
