Bobbywoodhogan
Well this ones been a long time coming and tbh I've been putting it off because there are so many victories I knew this would take some time to write. This is a fixture we have had a lot of success in, infact until that defeat in 2006 we hadn't lost a single Premier League match to Spurs. I know for a lot of Chelsea fans this is the most important fixture(s) of the season so here we go, pick the one that's your favourite (if you can, there's so many): (Again I decided to do Abramobich era only as otherwise this article would be even bigger and would have taken me years to write. I know there are many fond memories in the prior seasons but there are just as many in the Abramovich era) 2003/04 Premier League Chelsea 4 Spurs 2 The first meeting of the Abramovich era was an absolute classic, Freddie Kanoute gave Spurs a shock lead with a fine solo effort. Frank Lampard scored with a rare header to equalise before an impressive Adrian Mutu gave Chelsea the lead. Mutu again scored in the second half to extend the lead but Freddie Kanoute scored again to give the blues a scare. However fears of an equaliser were put to bed when Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink put the game to bed on 90 minutes, 2003/04 Premier League Spurs 0 Chelsea 1 Hasselbaink was once again Spurs nemesis giving the blues a first half lead after getting on the end of Duff's cross. The game wasn't anywhere near the classic Sent from my iPad 2004/05 Premier League Spurs 0 Chelsea 2 This was the season the blues marched to their first Premier League title in 50 years. On the way to that title win another win over Spurs was on the cards. A first half penalty from Frank Lampard gave Chelsea the lead awarded after Ledley King had brought down Alexei Smertin. Lampard scored yet again with virtually the final kick of the game with a nice goal from the edge of the box. 2005/06 Premier League Spurs 0 Chelsea 2 The game started fairly even until Mido was (admittedly harshly) sent off after 25 minutes. The man advantage soon showed as Chelsea took the lead from a Del Horno header late on in the first half. Damien Duff wrapped the game up with a horrible mis hit that fortunately dribbled into the corner. 2005/06 Premier League Chelsea 2 Spurs 1 It was sad day for blues fans as it was the first home game after the passing of Legend Peter Osgood. The blues started brightly with Essien missing a great chance to give Chelsea the lead, he made amends not to long later after getting on the end of Wright Phillips low cross. Jermaine Jenas spilled the mood with an equaliser on the stroke of half time. The blues battled in the second half with Robinson making a superb save off Drogba's shot that looked like it was going in. With the game looking like ending in a draw, William Gallas popped up with the best goal of his career to win the game. Ossie would have been proud of that one. 2007 FA Cup Spurs 1 Chelsea 2 After a stunning comeback to a 3-3 draw at the Bridge over a week before the rematch was on. Andrew Shevchenko opened the scoring with perhaps his finest moment in a Chelsea shirt. Not to long after Shawn Wright-Phillips doubled the lead with a fine strike of his own. Robbie Keane scored from the spot with about ten mins remaining to make for a nervy finish but thankfully it didn't matter. 2006/07 Premier League Chelsea 1 Spurs 0 A pretty forgettable game marked with a superb strike from outside the box by Ricardo Carvalho. This gave Chelsea the three points. 2007/08 Premier League Chelsea 2 Spurs 0 A pretty routine win for Chelsea, Belletti gave the blues the lead early on in the first half with a wonderful 30 yard strike. An impressive Wright Phillips made the game safe in the second half with a fine low footed drive into the bottom corner. Debutant Nicolas Anelka made his debut in this one and came close to scoring, hitting the woodwork in the final moments of the game. 2009/10 Premier League Chelsea 3 Spurs 0 Ashley Cole opened the scoring with a diving header after about 30 minutes in the first half. Spurs wee furious in the second half when Carvalho looked to have brought down Keane but nothing was given. Chelsea made them pay minutes later when Michael Ballack doubled the lead. Drogba finished the victory off with the blues third after Drogba embarrassed ex blues keeper Cudicini running through him and the defence to slot home. 2010/11 Premier League Chelsea 2 Spurs 1 After going a goal down via a long range Sandro goal from 30 yards. Funnily Sandro ran to celebrate with Harry Redknapp but he was given an earful from his manager for not staying in position. Frank Lampard equalised for Chelsea with a 35 yard shot that Gomes should have done better with, it was a howler to say the least. After a melee in the Spurs box with Drogba and Anelka both trying to find space for the shot Kalou snuck in to tap the ball home near full time to give the blues a lucky won. 2012 FA Cup Chelsea 5 Spurs 1 The way the match started you would not have thought the score line would have been so empathetic with both teams missing glorious chances to take the lead. It did take 43 minutes for the deadlock to be broken and it was broken by Didier Drogba who scored a stunner whilst totally destroying ex Chelsea defender William Gallas. The second goal came mere minutes after the second half started but it was in controversial circumstances as the ball clearly didn't cross the line. However it stood and Chelsea were 2-0 up, it only took Spurs 6 mins to get back into the game when Gareth Bale tapped the ball into an empty net after Petr Cech had taken down Adebayor in the box. With 13 mins remaining Ramires restored the two goal cushion with a brilliant finish. Lampard extended the lead minutes later with a superb freekick. Malouda tapped hone in the final minute to send Chelsea into the FA Cup final. 2012/13 Premier League Spurs 2 Chelsea 4 Quite possibly the last great moment of the Di Matteo era, Gary Cahill gave Chelsea the lead in the first half with a stunning volley. In the second half ex Chelsea hero William Gallas provided Spurs with an equaliser before Jermaine Defoe gave Spurs the lead. However Chelsea would not be denied and Juan Mata equalised for Chelsea with fine accuracy from the edge of the box. Mere minutes later it felt like the Juan Mata show and he again scored to put Chelsea back in front. Daniel Sturridge made the game safe in injury time as Chelsea fans mocked the blues former coach Andre Villas Boas with chants of "Andre, what's the score". This is my personal favourite. 2013/14 Premier League Spurs 0 Chelsea 4 After a forgettable first half the game sprang to life in the second half when Samuel Eto'o intercepted a terrible back pass from Jan Vertonghen to give the blues the lead. Then minutes later Eto'o was taken out in the box by Younes Kaboul who was subsequently red carded. This allowed Eden Hazard to score a penalty extending the lead to two. The game got worse for Spurs as more mistakes were punished and Demba Ba scored a quick fire double to kill the game off. 2014/15 Premier League Chelsea 3 Spurs 0 Apart from a good start for Spurs with star man Harry Kane hitting the bar they didn't really threaten as the blues eased to victory. Eden Hazard opened the scoring within 20 minutes and not even five minutes later Chelsea's lead was doubled via Didier Drogba. Loic Remy came on in the second half and killed the game off not to long later with a nice finish and movement that embarrassed Spurs defender Jan Vertonghen. 2014/15 Capital One Cup Final Chelsea 2 Spurs 0 Spurs had given Chelsea a humiliating defeat on New Years Day so revenge was very much on the cards. Other than an Eriksen freekick that hit the bar (Cech had it covered mind) Spurs failed to break down Chelsea. Mr Chelsea gave Chelsea the lead late in the first half before Diego Costa sealed the victory & the cup in the second half with a deflected goal off Kyle Walked. Chelsbear
It's a great post Bobby. I'm at work so can't really go in depth into it just now but will tonight.
splishsplosh
I'm tempted to say the 5-1 victory at Wembley, but I think for pure enjoyment/dread of the game, the 2-4 victory at White Heart Lane under Di Matteo was a wonderful game of football. Mata was sublime.
drjonesy1994
The 5-1 at Wembley for me. Scored some great goals that day, notably Drogba's and Lamps' free kick from about 6000 yards. The fact that spurs poured out of wembley from about the 80th minute makes it all that sweeter. "Is there a fire drill?"
Boyne
Was at WHL for the 2007 FA Cup match, Two great goals from Sheva and SWP. Icing on the cake following the great comeback in the game at the Bridge. So difficult to choose my favourite victory over Spurs, there have been so many.

dkw
The win in 2001 when we got a penalty after JFH kicked the ground, and a late winner by Desailly. late goals are always great but the anger and seethe generated from that penalty was magnificent. And I think we were even down to 10 men

Celery1989
For me it boils down to three: The 5-1 FA Cup Semi, 4-2 at WHL and the most recent, the 2-0 in the COC Final. The last 2 are particularly poignant for me for various reaons. Firstly, I was there for both. The 4-2 at WHL was actually the first away game I'd seen us win, only took something silly like 6/7 attempts! It was an incredible game as well, one where we were 2-1 down as well. Atmosphere was utterly unreal, bellowing out 'Champions of Europe, we know what we are' at theirs was just brilliant. If I had to pick one I think it would be the COC. Had a great day out at Wembley and I really feel that that victory gave the players the belief to go on and win the Premier League. Also I think it was first time we've beaten them in a Cup Final and there's something really satisfying about seeing JT score against them. The amount of vitriol that he receives from them is unparalleled by any other set of fans. Edited May 11, 2015 by Celery1989

Zola's Love Child
The 5-1 in the FA Cup. They were getting ready to cry blue murder about the over/not over the line goal - and then we destroyed them.
Scott Harris
The 5-1 win in the F.A cup, we absolutely destroyed them. There were some great goals in that one.
