The way I see it is he would instantly be better than anyone else on our right hand side and would cost £7 million.

Squad needs more rotation.  7M for a player of his calibre is a no-brainer.

He's made over 200 appearances for one of the best teams around and 7m is an absolute steal for a player of his quality if true we should be snapping him up.

WTF am I reading. Surely if anything depth is exactly what we need. If Jose carries on next season running the team into the ground in the first half of the season then we have zero chance of going deep in the CL. 

What he adds is a great work ethic and high pressing which was instilled in him throughout his career from Peps Barcelona when he promoted him to the senior team. He's got a pretty good eye for goals and he's got experience at the highest levels of Football in scoring winning goals in the Champions League final (against United...) and playing World Cup Finals.

 

For the price he's being quoted he'd be an absolute steal and would be a solid addition to the squad and would be quite a good challenger for the first team.

I don't particularly want him but let's not go pretended that a player making that many appearances for the greatest club side of the last decade isn't good enough to play for Chelsea.

Not to be rude or anything, but that means nothing. He is not better than any attacking player in our side and he wouldn't improve us.

We need better than Pedro if we want to win the CL again.

I think you're all thinking that Pedro is the same player he was four years ago for Barca. He quite simply isn't, one of my Spanish friends watches La Liga week in, week out and even he says that Pedro is obscenely overrated and I trust his opinion over most.

What I meant by Chelsea standard was that he wouldn't improve our line up, and that is correct.

Depth wise? Perhaps. But not a starter, never.

I sort of agree. He's good enough to be a role player here, but not starter material in the big matches. I think that's maybe what was meant by the Chelsea material comment.

If Bayern are buying any winger not named Marco Reus then it would be madness for us not to make him our primary wing target.

 

As for Pedro, I think he's being drastically underrated by many on here, especially for such a steal of a price. Any winger who has spent most of their lives playing and training with Messi, Iniesta and Xavi, and being good enough to stay in that team until a player the caliber of Luis Suarez showed up, evidently isn't bad and will probably be better in possession as opposed to the likes of Sterling and Griezmann who mainly thrive on the counter, which is the exact problem we've had with Salah and Cuadrado, two players useless against the 10 behind the ball we face every weekend.

 

Also worth mentioning that despite receiving limited minutes, he's scored 11 goals this season, the same amount as Oscar and Willian combined.

6 goals and 6 assists in 1400 league minutes isn't much better than Oscar's stats and he doesn't have to do the defensive work Oscar does.

Certainly looks better than what we've got on the right at the moment. Has a similar playing style to Hazard by the look of things, could compliment him well. For £7m if the price is accurate we'd be fools not to sign him, especially since we've clearly got money to use if we can spunk £27m on Juan f**king Twiglet-hair Cuadrado.

People are seriously comparing him to Navas? Jesus. He is far better.
