Great night of football! I'm envious of those who attended including close mates of mine but sadly I couldn't get away from important commitments but hopefully everyone who attended in Australia cherished that experience. I've waited too long to see our boys play in Australia and for older relatives of mine they were there in 1974 when we last came out so it's been a long time between drinks.

Hopefully the club has relished the prospect of being in Australia and will be back here more often in future years but next time they need to come to Melbourne where 100,000 people will watch them instead of 80,000 people. Our players look a little tired now and Jose looked jet-lagged so they're entitled to a well-deserved rest now!

Not bad for a friendly. Enjoyed it and good to see some of the boys putting in a decent effort, Hazard especially. Official attendance was 83,598, all this on a cold Tuesday night. Glad my kids have finally watched them. Massive amount of CFC tops visible but strangely too quiet for me. The idiots throwing paper planes got more noise and attention than what was happening on the field. Seriously. It used to be darts in time past, now it's paper planes!!

The story with RLC we all read already I guess. Solanke was replaced when he came on only in the second half as well, does it say anything or just substitution?
