July 26, 201510 yr Two days I've been waiting for a link to one of these numerous interviews in which KDB slagged Jose and/or Chelsea.
July 26, 201510 yr I don't take issue with the fact that he ALLEGEDLY slagged off Josè. Couldn't care less. I just don't think he was good enough. Or at least he never performed to a level where he looked good enough. And people can use the ' he only played a few games ' excuse as long as they want. He has all week in training to perform to get picked
July 26, 201510 yr Don't have a problem with that, MJB. But there's a great difference between football opinions and using The Shed End for creating a hate atmosphere by inventing some rubbisch.
July 26, 201510 yr He got more appearances in the cups etc. Not cups etc. Cup. After being benched in August he got a league cup apperance after two months on the bench not playing, then another league cup apperance two months after that. Two games over four months. Even the shockingly poor Cuadrado has gotten more oppurtunities then that and at least KdB showed he was actually a footballer
July 26, 201510 yr Totally agree KRC I got nothing against him personally , and I wouldn't really care if he said anything about Josè to be honest. I just don't rate him as highly as others do.
July 26, 201510 yr No doubting he's a talented kid, but he can win as many Bundesliga player of the season awards as he likes , ultimately he couldn't cut it at CFC. Simple as that

July 26, 201510 yr Thank you, MJB. No, Chelsbear. The crux of the matter from this thread is what's real and what's not and the likes from forum members who can make the difference. That's very dangerous in my opinion. I'm asking myself if they know what they create?
July 27, 201510 yr Two days I've been waiting for a link to one of these numerous interviews in which KDB slagged Jose and/or Chelsea. Davy, I think everyone has you on ignore but me.. Any way I had a very quick look around and this is the best I have found. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2541700/Kevin-Bruyne-hits-Jose-Mourinho-completing-17m-Chelsea-Wolfsburg.html Not exactly scathing, but maybe there is more. Truth is I think Jose has a way with the younger players. He puts them under pressure to see the reaction. For him the personality of a player is as important as the talent. It's all very well when thing are going great, team playing well, flowing football, goals going in for fun. But when things arnt going for you, when players have to dig in and grind something out that's when you see the character of your players and with out it your not going to win league titles. I guess he Jose decided KDB was not some one he wanted to be in the trenches with. Jose made a lot of big calls the last 2 years, getting rid of Mata, lukaku and KDB and from a pure chelsea perspective it looks like he got it right, two cups last season and all. From the continuation of the players point of view it might seem a bit different. Mata much as I love him, while still producing magic shows up the same dilemmas at United that Jose had with him. Lusaka I never rated but the goal ratio must have been tempting. Jose got that one right though. KDB.. Maybe the kid needed an arm round him instead, not every one responds the same way and maybe Jose got it wrong. We honestly won't be able to make the call till he comes back to the PL for a top team.
July 27, 201510 yr Well. Let me thank you for your reaction, Barak81. Good try and it's certainly possible. But. About the article. First of all. I don't know the english journalists. So I don't know their style of giving correct information. I know there was an article in Het Laatste Nieuws, but ... be careful with interviews in Het Laatste Nieuws. Be careful with interviews from interviews. Kevin doesn't like given interviews. So. Most of all ... I can't say that there 'maybe' is more if I don't know if the interview is true. I prefer to see it on tv. It's not really scrating, isn't? 'Hits back' is a strange title, isn't it? The only thing, I know, and I prefer it to see in a positiv way, is that Chelsea won the title with the perfect team with the perfect players, no doubt, and a very, a very good manager. Probably the best in the world. His vision was the only correct one to win a title. And, that Kevin has make a right decision too. He has already succeeded. All what happens now is extra. No matter what the future brings. No matter what he'll do in his next team. From a very young youth player in my team, a small team in Belgian, to this moment. For a fan like me is that once in a life time. An unbelievable something. And I'm lucky. I have Thibaut too. So. No problem at all for Mr. Mourinho or Kevin, I guess. There's already a new season to prepair! They don't have time for difficult troll questions about no football things. But that's not the point of this thread? (See post 81 and post 86 on this page.) (I should have write 'realize' instead of 'know' in post 86.)

Or at least he never performed to a level where he looked good enough. And people can use the ' he only played a few games ' excuse as long as they want. He has all week in training to perform to get picked If José has a problem with you, you can train all you want but you won't get back in the team. It's pretty obvious something happened between them, i see no other explanation. He didn't slag off Mourinho, all he said is that Mourinho never spoke with him and never told him why he didn't play or what he could do to get more game time. The matter of the fact is that he has played in different clubs in different countries, and nobody ever had anything to say about his attitude or his work rate. If you go to watch the open training sessions, you can also see that he's always one of the first out on the field and one of the last to to back in. I doubt that all that changed when he was at Chelsea and immediately came back when he signed for Wolfsburg. Saying he's not good enough is also a joke. If KDB isn't good enough, what do you think of players like Cuadrado, Moses or Oscar? KDB is a better player than that lot. Edited July 27, 201510 yr by BuBbA
July 27, 201510 yr "Better" is a completely subjective opinion, but what makes a GOOD footballer!? A lot of characteristics together. In that respect I absolutely believe Oscar is a better player than KDB, and more to the point so does Josè. In regards your other point I would disagree. I believe Josè is stubborn, but he is stubborn in that he will win at all costs, even if that means picking a player he doesn't like if it gives the team a better chance.
July 27, 201510 yr (Belgian in post 88 must be Belgium of course.) Obvious there was a problem. Indeed BuBba. Could it be to much players at that moment and making a choise between heroes and youngsters? Not only characteristics, MJB. Don't forget football intelligence and game positions on the field.
July 27, 201510 yr KRC I consider them to be characteristics. My point was many things make a Good footballer not just ability
August 21, 201510 yr Author City have agreed to personal terms with him. I expect the fee will be somewhere in the neighborhood of 50m pounds. Pellegrino is doing an LVG. 30m for a backup CB and now 50 for a backup midfielder. How do you fit Aguero, Sterling, Silva, KDB and Navas into the lineup. Heres hoping they play him at CM Lets see if we have a sell on clause. Edited August 21, 201510 yr by TheChelseaBlues

August 21, 201510 yr Author Pretty different styles of play no? We're going to be good friends you and I. Already finishing each others sentences
August 22, 201510 yr Silva - KDB - Sterling -------Aguero Not a lot of work rate there with Toure behind as well, but if that clicks.. Although I thought they had a good balance there with Navas keeping the width but based on our match, maybe they see Sterling doing that job.
August 22, 201510 yr Author Thought the same. Totally opposite us in terms of balance in that game. I think KDB in the team will only slow them down in attack and cause them some trouble defensively.
August 22, 201510 yr Interesting view by Jose on KDB, http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/kevin-de-bruyne-transfer-chelsea-6296527
