Retaining the title in the BPL is incredibly difficult due to the teams challenging for the title. Were 4 games in, let's not worry just yet!

Worst goals conceded since 1971/72 before we were sh*t.

Joint worst points total after 4 games by reigning champions.

We continue to make history.

It's still early so no need to panic but things must change. Fabregas and Ivanovic need to be dropped. And Hazard needs a shake-up for sure.

How many goals do we have to concede down the right before Jose realises that Ivanovic is a liability?

 

Does Jose not know these matches are taped and opposition managers have access to them?

 

And what the hell is going on with our midfield? We might as well stick a couple of traffic cones in the middle of the pitch for the opposition to run past.

 

If not Stones and Pogba then I hope we have a couple of decent alternatives lined up.

 

Or Jose might have to do the unthinkable and drop Ivanovic, play Azpi on the right and give some younger players a start.

Mourinho in his post match interview acknowledged without naming him that Ivanovic was abysmal from minute 1 to 90. And that it was his mistake for believing in him. Iva should be without a doubt benched against Everton.

Not a bad match! Small improvements from last weeks! Mourinho has problems with very defensive tactics. I thought he found solutions to these last year. Players need to put much more pace in their game and diversify their game plan. Much in need of long range shooter like kenedy. Defense is not scoring as many goals as last year which opened up the matches for us the previous year.

So wait & see, I see lots of room for improvements ! We have the potential to be a very good team

If he's not prepared to drop players who are out of form and costing the team points because they're his favorites then we need to get a manager who puts the team above everything else.

Okay this my first ever forum post because I can't stand this anymore. Near enough everytime we conceded last season it came from down our right. There has been a lot of talk about john stones coming in now he is a cb and guess what we dont need him. Ivanovic at rb is the weakness of the back 4. He has no pace but still runs up the pitch willy nilly. Allowing teams with pace such as swansea city and palace to exploit us. mcmannan even got the better of him. Football is a team game but you have your job within that team and if you don't fulfil you leave your teammate out to dry. Now as a team we havent been good enough which is a combination poor tactical choices and performances. We were losing so I understand the players Jose brought on however 2 of the players he took off were wrong. Willian and Dave should've stayed on Hazard and Ivanovic should've come off. Hazard is an unbelievable talent who if he gets more goals would be right up there close to messi. But he is not willing to defend whereas willian is. Yes, willian wasn't playing great but he definitely wasn't worse than hazard. Kenedy I have to say looked great he was put in at lb even though he is a forward and took the fight to palace no quarrels with him at all. RLC needs more game time but again looked good. Falcao great goal supplied by pedro who was close to scoring himself. I wanna see Baba play and I wanna see Ivanovic rested. 

 

Transfer- honestly another lb maybe siqueria or coentrao. cause i'd convert ivanovic to CB cause we are getting killed by his ignorance and lack of pace. other than that I think our depth is incredible. GK TC, AB RB dave and ivan(occasional) CB JT Zouma Cahill Ivan lb Baba + need another. CDM matic mikel RLC Fab -- utility ramires -- CAM Oscar-Fab wingers pedro willian hazard traore forwards Costa Falcao Remy Kenedy.

 

I'm sorry this is a massive rant and it is nearly over. Parking the Bus. Now this term has for some reason been associated with us. Because we did it for one season cause our strikers weren't great but our defence was. Teams, big teams included, have been parking against us for years; today for instance Palace's game plan was to close matic quickly and to stop us getting 'good' possession if they didn't do that they sat back absorbed pressure and broke with pace. Don't get me wrong we weren't good enough but say if we did that tactic I'd see bus pictures all over my twitter whatsapp sms everything. But a team does it against us it is a superb win. 

 

rant over. i just hope after this international break we get to see some committed team performances.

I think the tell signs are showing quite early in the season, which in a strange way is good. Ivanovic does not look anything like last season, the dip in form is staggering and frightening. Baba deserves to be given a chance, Ivanovic is not tied down with a new contract, if he keeps this up he will not be offered one either. Matic and Cesc are not on the same page and it shows. Maybe its time for Jose to insert RLC in there with Matic and let Cesc push up a bit further. Diego and Falcao looked good together, one of the very few positives, why not experiment with a 4-1-3-2 a few games and see how they fare out.

 

Its still extremely early to call for anyones head, but we have stumbled across the starting line, we are in a marathon not a sprint. Gotta keep the positivity boys and gals, dont give up on the Chels.

Who are we even going to sign this late with quality? Stones and Pogba aren't happening and no club will be selling us their top midfielder this late.

At least jose has (without naming) has taken blame for Ivan and said he is bollox

Zouma is better than stones if you wont play dave right, get in for a right back not a Cb I think zouma and JT would be very good 

I have no faith that signings are the answer if we can't get the existing players to put in a shift

It happens, teams are going through tough time and players don't perform. Last season defending title Coty also did t perform to their full potential. I hope we will bounce back quickly. I believe it will be dificult to chase City this season.

Maybe it's time to give the youth a try? Baba and Zouma in alongside JT and Dave moved to RB. RLC in alongside Matic and put Oscar in with Hazard and Pedro with Diego or Falcao up front. Then give Kenedy and Traore a regular place on the bench with the likes of Boga and Musunda as well. Old Father time comes to footballers as well!!

The title race is over. Let's concentrate on the champions league now. Forget the league cup, fa cup as well. We are good enough to get top four so we shouldn't worry about that but we need to pour everything into the champions league.

We have a Title winning team, we bring in Falcao who now scored and looks like he might keep going, we brought pure class in pedro, brought on an exciting new talent kenedy, this should be happy days, yet 1 player has contributed to almost every one of the 9 goals we have conceded, get him the f**k out before we forget all the good he has done for us in the past 

Well i listened to this whilst stuck at work, some of the comments on here were abysmal, fickle as f**k!!!!!.......A definite lack of a spark, but in Jose we trust, just saw Falcaos stunning header, well thats a bonus, the biggest worry is Hazard, i thought in the opening game he looked off the pace, still feel that, Ivan well Dr Time has caught him up very quick, only way now is up the table please..

This is PL, not Bundesliga. City won't be playing like that every match, they will sleep and it will give other teams chance to catch up. I can't believe that some of Chelsea fans are already giving up on chances to win PL.

I think we will win with Everton. Perhaps we have to implement more defending style like 2 seasons ago and go for contras?
