The biggest disappointment for me is the lack of responsibility shown from our supposed big game first team regulars. How have five-six players suddenly gone so stale?

 

Shouldn't this group be galvanised and motivated after winning the league?

I think we will make 2 more signings I think Jose putting the 2 young guys on was a bit of a nudge to Roman saying we need a couple of signings.

 

Should have sorted this much earlier in the season like we did last season with Fabregas Costa ect... I actually think International break is coming at a good time we really need to buck our ideas up and I think a bit of thinking time for Jose.

A pretty dire performance today and in my opinion we would not have deserved anything out of it. Kenedy showed more guts in his cameo performance than the rest of the squad put together.

 

I don't think we're in full blown crisis yet but we're not far off. Who have we got next, Everton and Spurs? If we lose those two then we're in serious trouble.

this squad was good enough last year, so signings shouldnt be necessary to see off the likes of palace, swansea and west brom. players need to have a long hard look at themselves, this is not a professional start to a season. club need to take responsibility for the short pre-season as well

I think we will go all out for Stones now with a ridiculous bid, maybe a panic buy. Midfield, Pogba looks unlikely but the Fabregas Matic combo clearly isn't working anymore.

Seriously where has Hazard been of late, barely ,making any plays in and around the box and today he and Pedro barely touched the ball compared to, Willian, Matic, Cesc who all had too many plays compared to those two.

Why shouldn't Jose be dug at the buck lies with him he picks and organises the team and yes he does make excuses alot of the time. He can do no wrong in some peoples eyes

To me if Jose plays Ivan again as rightback in the next match then he is being very stupid, whatever the reason Ivan has become very weak this year and other teams are being very quick to exploit it. Having said that the I'm struggling to find nearly any member of the team who is playing as well as last year, we've got worse in nearly every area and I don't think the odd possible player transfer is going to change that but even worse at this rate our fight won't be to win the league but will be just to get into the top 4................our play and league targets are slowly turning us in to Arsenal.

 

I'm fairly sure Jose will come up with some obfuscation to try and cover the performance but he'll soon have to be more honest about it.

Did we play deserve some thing? In my opinion yes

Could you make a case for palace deserving all 3 points? abasaloutly.

If we had won would it have been a robbery? no not really.

It was an evenly matched game and palace took there chnaces.

Should we be dominating these games? Yes.

Did Jose throw everything at it. Yes

I think at this point he probably realises that Ivan is a bust but it wasn't the game to drop him. JT back I expect dave to right back and baba at left back. We miss Oscar, I think massively understand but I can't shake the feeling that him and rami will be make weights in a pogba deal.

Bottom line though is that we are off to a bad start but it's no reason to start acting like scourses or gooners. Go for a work out, work it off. Eat some choclate cake.. And get over it, on to the next one

I have found one positive, maybe our relations with Liverpool will improve now, we both have one thing in common, we're both sh*t at the moment. We can laugh in disbelief with each other, or drown our sorrows together..actually this is a massive negative.

Today's defeat combined with a hangover which will just not go away for some reason, has made this day more dreadful than ever.

On the plus side Liverpool lost and I look forward to watching that and all the red cards later on MOTD.
