Sky Sports breaking news says we are closing to signing Michael Hector from Reading for £4m, anyone know anything about him?

A bit of a rising star at Reading, came up through the youth team and is considered one of their biggest assets.

Will probably join Vitesse! Saying that though, I'd prefer him over Papy Unpronounceable.

Michael Hector has been on 11 loans in 6 years so at least he'll fit in.

Being fair to Hector he is actually quite a good player. But so is Kalas. But so is Christensen. But so is Chalobah. But so is Clarke-Salter

Mind boggling when a few months ago we were champions and flying high..now we have been battered by City and done by Palace at the Bridge.

So we spent double on a youth player who will spend his Chelsea career on loan, then we spent on someone who is supposedly going into the first team

we are just going to sign a bunch of homegrown players aren't we?

apparently was excellent for reading last season according to a few reading supporters, and a couple are annoyed he's going for so little considering mings went for a higher fee. 

He's our 3rd choice centre back behind McShane and Ferdinand at the moment. He's a good player but was put somewhat in the shop window by an excellent performance at Wembley against Arsenal in the FA Cup Semi Final which I think has made him seem better than he actually is. 

 

He's tall, strong, but has a mistake in him. I'll be gutted to see him go for Reading's sake, but I can't see why Chelsea are signing him...
