MayosNoun Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 (edited) This is annoying me. My friend sent it through whatsapp and I'm running out of guesses. Played with: Ronaldo (Brazilian) Ibrahimovic Zidane Trezeguet Crouch Roberto Carlos PIrlo Kaka Managed by: Anceloti Won: la liga Serie A Chanpions league Edited November 26, 2015 by MayosNoun
MayosNoun Posted November 26, 2015 Author Posted November 26, 2015 He didn't win Serie A and I don't think he has played with Trezeguet.
MayosNoun Posted November 26, 2015 Author Posted November 26, 2015 Did Anelka play with Crouch? Can't find that. Don't think Adebayor played in Serie A
Gem Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 Pfffft, make it work then. Otherwise it's all ^^ word salad :D
PloKoon13 Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 Yeah Crouch is the outlier really in this, I've managed to more or less connect the others in terms of a potential career trajectory. Closest I've come so far is Robinho, although he never worked with Trezeguet, Ancelotti, or Crouch, and also never won the Champions League. Good brainteaser this.
Valerie Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 (edited) Eto'o? Edit: no, he went to Everton, not Stoke, after Chelsea. Wrong Milanese club too. Hmmmm.... Edited November 26, 2015 by Valerie
MayosNoun Posted November 26, 2015 Author Posted November 26, 2015 (edited) I'm trying that much I even had a look at the recent UNICEF match in which Ancelotti managed as this question has surfaced after that match played which made me wonder. This is the line up. Trezeguet and Crouch are the difficult ones. http://m.unicef.org.uk/Media-centre/Press-releases/All-Star-Line-Up-Announced-For-Beckham-Match-In-Aid-Of-Unicef/ Edited November 26, 2015 by MayosNoun
MayosNoun Posted November 26, 2015 Author Posted November 26, 2015 Bojan wouldn't have played with Figo or Trezeguet but he has won the trophies.
MayosNoun Posted November 26, 2015 Author Posted November 26, 2015 Thought I had it with Seedorf. Crouch is a knob.
MayosNoun Posted November 26, 2015 Author Posted November 26, 2015 Ancelotti. 1995 -1996 Reggiana 1996–1998 Parma 1999–2001 Juventus 2001–2009 Milan 2009–2011 Chelsea 2011–2013 Paris Saint-Germain 2013–2015 Real Madrid Both Trezeguet and Zidane played for Juventus on 2000 so I'm thinking its someone from Juventus. This is going to annoy me if it is indeed some charity match which defines the outcome.
MayosNoun Posted November 26, 2015 Author Posted November 26, 2015 https://mobile.twitter.com/petercrouch/status/669935619045515264 Hahaha !!! Even he doesn't know.
undertow Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 Look for CL winners who played with Crouch. Wikipedia has a list of all CL winners.
dkw Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 (edited) Is it figo maybe?... Ignore it, obviously doesn't work with crouch... Edited November 26, 2015 by dkw
PedroMendez Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 And no it didn't overlap with when crouch was ther
dkw Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 (edited) Right, erm, ignore. Edited November 26, 2015 by dkw
PedroMendez Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 ohh that's bs, I was just about to swear there wasn't an answer as I had just gone through all of Ancelloti squads
Zeta Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 If the internet hasn't worked it out yet, it's probably a trick question and they played in a charity game or something.,
Zola Posted November 27, 2015 Posted November 27, 2015 (edited) It has to be linked with that charity game that was played 2 or 3 weeks ago? Carlo managed that team.....Thats the only way Crouch would get near that sort of player calibre. Edited November 27, 2015 by Zola
