He's a sh*t goalscorer. And who's going to score our goals then? Hazard and Pedro/Willian aren't that prolific either and we have no goalscoring threat from midfield.

The man has 15 goals from 2 starts and 12 sub appearances last season . That would net 20+ in a full season here. 

 

In 04/05 when we first won the league Drogba scored 10 goals, 12 in the next season.

Mandzukic was a sh*t scorer compared to Gomez yet three guesses who worked better for Bayern.

Obviously he is implying that rather than signing Emenalo's choice in Lukaku we are backing Conte by going for Morata.

Drogba was basically a bulldoser for Lampard back then. Opening up the space for Frank to run into and smash them in.

So in that case having a striker who works for the team is important even if he isn't prolific? But now that should be abandoned in favour of someone who doesn't do much apart from bang them in because...?

Don't get this. I thought this was a done deal and we were waiting for Everton to spend their money before finalising it.

Seems United have just come in gazumped us. 

I'm not too fussed about losing Lukaku but who the hell are we going to sign to replace Costa?!

Because we hardly have any prolific players in our squad at the moment. Diego Costa is gone, Hazard is not a consistent goalscorer, neither are Pedro or Willian and we have no one else from deeper in midfield that scores goals either.

So clearly we need a proven goalscorer at the moment.

The guy is proven PL scorer, only 24 years old, he is improving from season to season and still not good enough. When he will sign for United you will watch him scoring and scoring and you will find even a better player in him. 

Wouldn't be nice to see Eversh*te left drowning in their greed when no one goes for him having spent all that money on average players...

I'm not so much bothered at seemly losing out to Lukaku, it's just that there's no other realistic options out there that can match his experience and goal scoring record.

I think he's a great player, but there are others better suited to us than Lukaku

Doesn't seem to have the same goal scoring record Lukaku does and might not adjust to the league.
